No, the GNM course does not require the NEET exam. Admission to the GNM course is based on Class 12 scores. NEET is primarily for admission to Medical courses like MBBS and BDS.

For the GNM course, candidates usually need to have completed their Class 12 education with a focus on Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). Some institutions may also accept students from other streams, but the preference is often given to Science students.

A GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course is available at the Kozhikode District Co-operative Hospital. The three-year program costs between ?3,00,000 and ?4,00,000. This covers additional educational costs as well as tuition and clinical training. It is advised to speak with the hospital directly for the most recent pricing schedule and any additional costs, if any, as fees may change depending on the services provided.

The eligibility criteria for GNM Nursing courses in India is to pass the higher secondary exam (10+2) with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The duration of GNM Nursing courses is 3 years and 6 months, including a 6-month mandatory internship period.

It is likely that you would be eligible for admission to a GNM Nursing program at Metro College of Nursing or any other institution in India, assuming the college’s admission criteria align with the general guidelines.

You can take admission into GNM at CSJM by attempting the CUET-UG entrance exam . Or you can also write NEET as the nursing is also included in the NEET . And student need to have 50% marks in their intermediate. All the best.
