Prospective applicants must take part in WBJEE followed by obtaining an approved ranking in order to enroll at GCECT. After successful completion of the WBJEE examination students need to take part in the WBJEE counseling procedure and choose GCECT as their top institution. WBJEE counseling uses candidate rankings together with their filled choices during the session to determine seat distribution. Candidates who receive their assigned seat must execute all necessary admission procedures.
