The University of Maryland Baltimore County does not mandate the submission of GRE scores as part of the application process. However, if applicants choose to submit their GRE scores, the university will give these scores significant weight in their evaluation. To send GRE scores, applicants must use ET’s submission method while submitting to the University of Maryland Baltimore country.

Here are 5 steps for GRE exam registration

  1. Create a new account on website of ETS.
  2. Select your test (GRE General Test or GRE Subject Test)
  3. Schedule your test (Select Test Centre and Date)
  4. Cross check the GRE Registration detailes and pay the GRE exam fee
  5. Receive confirmation and start your preparation.

Yes you can, as the university dosn't want GRE scores anymore. However, they want applicants to have a background in CS with a good GPA in their undergraduate course. But answering to the question, if a student has a GRE score of 302 then yes they will be considered . It is said that if you scored above 300, the applicant is better than half the test takers around the world. But students shouldn't just focus on getting marks, as they must also consider in soft skills, extracurricular activities, leadership qualities and strong LOR's and SOP.

NCSU graduate do not require the GRE or GMAT scores for official admission to the university. But, there are some graduate programs of the university that ask for GRE scores. To know more about this, it is advised to check with the programme requirements. Other courses may require other standardized test scores such as MAT.

The answer is yes! However, you need to have required study material to cover the topics and daily 4 to 6 hours for preparation. To prepare for GRE at home, you can follow these tips:

  1. Collect study material available on internet for free.
  2. Join online communities where you can discuss your preparation with other GRE test takers.
  3. Stay conneceted with any senior for preparation guidance.
  4. Regularly take practice tests and analyze your performance.
