Lamar Uni does not mandate the submission of Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores for candidates applying for PG courses. If students already have a GRE/GMAT score, they can submit it along with their online application. Also it is interesting to note that GRE/GMAT requirement is waived for international students who maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Students who want to take Graduate Record Examination test to study abroad should know that the ETS GRE Exam allows test-takers up to five attempts within a year. Note that, you can take the GRE General Test once after every 21 days. You need to complete the GRE registration process everytime to appear for the exam.

Well the answer is Yes! According to GRE Eligibility criteria, students from any education background are eligibile for GRE Registration. However, GRE exam is designed to test a candidate's verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing skills. These skills typically develop during undergraduate studies, often after 3-4 years of university coursework.

There is no official eligibility for GRE Exam. Students of any age with any educational background can appear for the exam. However, the GRE is an assessment test for admission to graduate courses, students should complete their undergraduate courses to go ahead with their GRE test. Note that, there is no predefined cut-off score required in graduation to appear in the Graduate Record Examination.

For MS in Data Science course admission to TAMU, GRE is optional. To apply to this course, the applicants are required to have the following:
- A bachelor’s degree with proper previous coursework in Maths, Statistics, some programming experience in at least one of the languages like R, Python, C+
- CV / resume
- Statement of purpose
- Academic transcripts
- 3 Recommendation letters
- TOEFL / other test scores
- Other supporting documents (as required)
