GRE score has been waived off for Fall 2024 by the University of Arizona for admission to MS in CS course. Other application requirements to submit the University of Arizona MS in CS application are:

  • Online application
  • Academic transcripts
  • GRE test score has been waived off for Fall 2024
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • CV
  • Statement of Purpose
  • English language proficiency score

GRE scores for admission to MS in CS at Cornell University are not required and the university does not review them at the time of applications. Other application requirements for Cornell University admissions to MS in CS are:

  • A bachelor’s degree in CS is required but the applicants who have majored in other field and minored in CS shall be fully considered
  • The applicants must have a proven record of excellence as an undergraduate grader / TA in CS course
  • Experience as an UG researcher is highly recommended

Yes, Official GRE scores are required of all applicants. Results are considered official only when sent directly to the graduate school from the testing agency. The university wants it’s students to have a score of 150 or higher in the GRE Verbal, 159 or higher on the GRE Quantitative, and 3.4 or better on the GRE Analytical Writing. However, the university considers multiple factors in the student's profile. These factors include Leadership, Work experience, essays, LOR and interviews that the students give during their admission process

 Applicants with an undergraduate GPA between 2.50 and 2.99 have alternative methods as listed below:

  1. Post Baccalaureate Coursework: Submit evidence of completing 9+ graduate credits with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  2. Non- Degree Enrollment: Complete 6 SIS credits with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

  3. GRE scores: Provide the university with a GRE score report (within 5 years) with a total score of 294 and a verbal score of at least 153.

Specifically, for MS in Mathematics course for George Mason University,  GRE score is not required. However, apart from this, the applicants must meet all the graduate course requirements such as having a bachelor’s degree with minimum 3.0 GPA. The applicants are also required to submit 3 letters of recommendation.

Other admission requirements

  • Students must have taken an upper-division course in Advanced Calculus, an Abstract Algebra course and an upper-division course in Linear Algebra
  • Students must also have some Computer knowledge
