The questions asked in the GUJCET are asked in multiple choice format and are based on subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. Each subject will have 40 questions each. The time duration will be 3 hours. The difficulty level of the question paper will be of easy to moderate level.

The minimum age limit to apply for GUJCET is 17 years. There is no upper age limit for the same.

Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria of GUJCET can fill the application form. The GUJCET eligibility criteria is mentioned here - 

  • Candidates must be a resident of Gujarat
  • The minimum age limit must be 17 years
  • They must have qualified 10+2 with PCM or PCB

To apply for the GUJCET exam candidates need to be an Indian citizen and have a Gujarat domicile. They must have also qualified Class 10+2 in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. The minimum age limit must be at least 17 years.

If qualified in the exam, candidates can get admission into LD College of Engineering, Nirma University, Dharmsinh Desai UNIVERSITY (DDU), Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidhyala (BVM), Government Engineering College, Rajkot, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU) etc.

The GUJCET 2026 application form is out on December 16, 2025. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria can apply till January 16, 2026.

There are not multiple stages in the GUJCET exam. You need to qualify it and appear for the counselling, after that you will get admission into the course and college of your choice.
