Hello Shourya,
As the college has now been converted into a fully residential university named Harcourt Butler Technical University, its selection procedure will surely change from the year to come. As the sources say, it shall be taking admissions in its B.Tech programme through the JEE Mains.
Admission in HBTU from 2017 onwards will take place through:
1) JEE Mains for MCA and B.Tech courses.
2) GATE for admission in M.Tech program.
3) Admission in Ph.D programmes under quality improvement programmes is done by Principal QIP coordinator nominated by Government of India every year.
All the best!

The faculty of the college are highly knowledgeable. They are all scientists. Some have worked almost for 30 years in CSIR labs. They belong to India's greatest laboratory. It is a previous pattern in UPSEE that you may see in the previous year question papers but this year, pattern is 50 questions each from PCM that is total 150 questions and each correct answer carries 4 marks and there will be no negative marking.
You have to score less than 30k rank to get admission in this college.
All the best.
