Harvard Univ is extremely competitive to get into and its acceptance rate is usually recorded below 5%. Every year, Harvard receives more than 50,000 applications. It can be really hard to get into both universities. The applicants would require more than just good grades to get into both the universities.

Both the universities, Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, are two universities that are toughest to get into. The acceptance rates, MIT acceptance rate is around 4.5%. Harvard is more selective with around 3.6% acceptance rate

After passing Class 12, Indian students can take admission to Harvard Uni. The applicants can submit the application via Common App or Coalition App. SAT / ACT scores can be submitted too. 

And the students would be required to meet the Harvard University admission requirements which are given below - 

  • Four-year coursework in subjects like Math, Chemistry, Biology 
  • A really good GPA (generally around 4.0 on a 4.0 scale)
  • Great extracurriculars and leadership skills 
  • Out-of-the-box personal statement or essays

MIT and Harvard are among the toughest university in the world to get into. If we compared them in terms of their acceptance rate, then Massachusetts Institute of Technology acceptance rate is 3.96while Harvard University acceptance rate is 3.41%. This will clearly shows that admissions at both the university are highly competitive but Harvard is harder to get into then MIT.
