If we compare the acceptance rates of Duke and Harvard University. The Harvard University acceptance rate is 3% and the acceptance rate of Duke is 6%. This shows getting into Harvard is way harder than Duke. However, international students have to perform their best to get into any one of the universities, both are highly competitive. Yes, Harvard University offers on-campus housing opportunities to their students, that too in affordable prices. Harvard has 12 houses available on campus, which can accommodate about 350-500 students. Under the Harvard’s House system,  first-year students get to ive in dorms with shared suites adjacent to Harvard Yard and eat meals in Annenberg Hall. For graduate students, the university has Harvard University Housing, also known ad Harvard-owned apartments.
