Whether Harvard University is "better" than Boston University (BU) is determined by a variety of factors including individual preferences of the student as while Harvard is widely regarded as one of the world's most prominent universities BU is likewise a highly rated university, however Harvard's reputation usually outperforms that of BU.
Moreover both the universities provide top notch academics however when it comes to rankings it can be concluded that Harvard does outperform Boston.

Yale University and Harvard University are a part of the top universities worldwide and it is very difficult to get into these universities. Harvard University acceptance rate stands at 3.4%. In comparison, the Yale University acceptance rate is recorded to be 4.5%, which again shows that the university is extremely selective.

In Fall 2022, Yale received more than 50,000 applications. However, only about 2,200 got enrolled in the university for their higher education. Thus, it can be seen that with the Yale University acceptance rate of merely 4.5%, the university is extremely competitive to get into.

Columbia Uni and Harvard Uni are a part of the top universities worldwide and it is very difficult to get into these universities. Harvard University acceptance rate stands at 3.4%, which indicates the competitive nature. In comparison, Columbia University acceptance rate is recorded to be 3.85% which again shows that university is extremely selective.

It can be really hard to get into both universities. The applicants would require more than just good grades to get into both the universities.

Both the universities, Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, are two universities that are toughest to get into. The acceptance rates, MIT acceptance rate is around 4.5%. Harvard is more selective with around 3.6% acceptance rate

After passing Class 12, Indian students can take admission to Harvard Uni. The applicants can submit the application via Common App or Coalition App. SAT / ACT scores can be submitted too. 

And the students would be required to meet the Harvard University admission requirements which are given below - 

  • A Four-year coursework in subjects like Math, Chemistry, Biology 
  • A really good GPA (generally around 4.0 on a 4.0 scale)
