*First thing first, you need to be good in academics and test scores.
*In addition, if going for master-level degrees, having a bachelor's degree from IIT or top Delhi University colleges will count. For a great bachelors college, you can crack IIT or can be a top ranker in Board examinations.
For master's degree, having a selective job in a top firm will definitely help.
*You need to score high in IIT (or board topper or university gold medalist) and can have high scores in SAT (for bachelors), or GMAT and GRE (for masters).
