Candidates planning to apply for HPU MBA programme must complete their graduation. Below is the detailed eligibility for Himachal Pradesh University MBA course:
- Candidates who have passed bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST candidates) can apply for MBA .
- Candidates appearing for their final year exam of bachelor's degree can also appear in HPU MAT, but the final selection is subject to satisfying the eligibility condition.

The total tuition fee for HPU MBA ranges between INR 4,800 and INR 1.4 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. There is slight relaxation in fee for students already registered with HP University. Once the candidates are selected, they need to pay a programme fee to confirm their seat in the university. There are no other branch, Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU) is located in Shimla district Ghandal and was established in the year 2016, by the Himachal Pradesh Act of 2016. The university has now become a part of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) consortium. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and ranked 5 among NLU’s by CLAT Cutoff list. Admissions shall be made strictly on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Test provided he / she obtains at least 50% marks in the Entrance Test (45% marks for SC/ST candidates). This is a two year programme of regular study.
The cutoff for Himachal Pradesh National Law University Shimla in 2023 will be determined by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) during the CLAT counseling process. Candidates who have appeared in CLAT 2023 exam and meet the HPNLU 2023 Shimla cut-off scores will be considered for admission.
