Admission to Chitkara College of Hospitality Management B.Sc. in Hospitality Administration programme is moderately tough. The process include meeting the fundamental eligibility requirements which often include completing 12th grade or its equivalent with a solid academic record. As IIHM eCHAT is a university-level exam, no centralised cutoff has yet been released. Admission will be made based on the scores obtained in the IIHM eCHAT exam, followed by counseling. To be eligible for admission, the candidate must have passed class 12th in any stream from any recognized board. The candidate must have English as a compulsory subject in class 12th and the maximum age limit is 22 years.

The eligibility criteria for the B.Sc. in International Hospitality and Tourism Administration programme offered by IIHM Ahmedabad are:

10+2 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board

English as a compulsory subject

Age not above 22 years

Admission is based on performance in the Electronic Common Admission Test (e-CHAT) conducted by IIHM, followed by a Personal Interview

No, you cannot be admitted to a B.A. in Hospitality Management at IIHM without IIHM eCHAT. You must have appeared for this exam and interview. To be eligible for the exam, you must have to complete class 12th with at least 50% marks in any stream from any recognized board.

IIHM Ahmedabad does not offer a BBA in Hospitality or any other specialization. However, it offers a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Management and the student will have to appear for the NCHM-JEE exam for selection. The candidates belonging to ST category are exempted from this exam.

IIHM Ahmedabad is average college for B.Sc. in Hospitality Administration. The average package is INR 2 to 2.5 lpa. Only 40 to 50 % students are placed every year. However, their infrastructure and the  industry exposure is good.

The average salary for a B.Sc. Hons. in International Hospitality Management at IIHM Ahmedabad is around INR 10,000 to 15,000 per month and the highest salary offered till now is 29,000 per month. Around 80% of the students get placed every year and Taj Groups and Oberoi are some of the top recruiters.
