Both the courses are the same, the only difference is the name used by different colleges. Rest, you can have a look at the syllabus of both the courses, there are very minor differences in them.

Numerous colleges follow merit wise admission procedures for admission for BA in Culinary Arts course. Marks obtained in 10+2 board exam are considered when allotting seats to applicants. Register and Apply: Interested candidates can apply online with required information
Entrance Test: Eligible candidates need to appear for SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) conducted by the SRM University.
Candidates with valid rank/score in GMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ TANCET need not to appear for SRMJEEE.

Placements: There is a department called training and placement on the campus, which looks after the internships and campus recruitment, and it always runs behind the students. For their recruitment even after the graduation, if any student is unemployed, training and placement cell helps them.
