GNIHM JET 2022: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

GNIHM JET 2022 exam is being held in phases. The application process is open. The candidates who have appeared for the exam will be then called for admission based on their marks in GNIHM JET 2022. The further admission process is notified to the candidates and via the official website.

What is GNIHM JET?

An All-India level Joint Entrance Test (JET) is conducted by the Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management (GNIHM) to offer admission to aspirants in hospitality courses offered by it. HM JET is also commonly referred to as JIS Entrance Exam.

In order to secure admission in BHSM and BHMCT courses, candidates need to clear JET Examination that is conducted by the college. For BSc in Hospitality & Hotel Management (H) and MSc/MBA Hospitality and Hotel Management, aspirants need to clear JET Entrance Examination. HM JET 2022 test dates have been declared. The exam is of two hours duration wherein aspirants need to attempt 120 questions. JET is conducted by GNIHM in the month of January, April, May and June. 

GNIHM JET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are different for UG and PG level courses offered at Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management. To secure admission in UG level hospitality courses candidates should have completed their 10+2 or higher secondary examination whereas the eligibility criteria for PG courses is such that aspirants should be graduates in any stream. GNIHM offers Diploma in Hotel and Hospitality Operation at both the UG and PG level. Thus, the eligibility criteria for this course states that candidates should have cleared their Class 10 or Class 12 or graduation in any stream.

Age Limit: Candidates can be a maximum of 22 years of age to meet the eligibility criteria to secure admission in Bachelor degree courses and 25 years for MSc/MBA in Hospitality and Hotel Management course.

GNIHM JET Admission Process 

Candidates need to go through the below-mentioned steps in order to take part in GNIHM JET admission process successfully.

Step 1: Fill GNIHM JET Application Form

Candidates can fill the application form available at the college or the online application form available on the official website of Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management for admissions. Aspirants need to pay GNIHM JET 2022 application fee by means of Debit card/Credit Card of any nationalised bank or through DD/Cheque that is drawn in favour of “Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management“ such that it is payable at Kolkata. Apart from this, the cash payment of application fee is also accepted by the college.

Step 2: Download GNIHM JET Admit Card

The admit card for Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management JET exam is sent to aspirants by email, speed post or courier service.

Step 3: Appear for GNIHM JET Exam

JIS entrance test is a written entrance exam. The test is of 120 minutes duration wherein candidates need to attempt 120 objective and subject questions. Candidates can select their test day as per their convenience.

Step 4: Check GNIHM JET Result

Candidates are informed about GNIHM JET result on their registered email ID.
