It is definitely a thriving industry with lots of opportunities in restaurants, hotels, tourism, airline, guest houses, housekeeping, administration and in HR/sales/marketing too. A Bachelor or a Diploma certification will help to get started.

Hi Naveen, Admission to the course at various private institutes of the country is based on the candidates performance in a relevant entrance test and round of personal interview. Please confirm the course in which you wish to apply for better understanding. Thanks.

You can do Diploma in Culinary Arts and grow your experience with knifes, cutting of vegetables and all necessary basics and then specialise in your choice of kitchen like Indian, Italian, Pastry, Chinese, etc. Culinary is an ocean and you need to catch the right fish (cuisine) to sustain. A very great choice and you need to be enough passionate to sustain. There are enough craft courses and special courses for culinary.

Hi,
It is very happy to see that people are interested in travel and tourism sector. Any stream candidate can get into tourism trade, there is no specific stream for tourism studies and it depends on the college if they ask for entrance exams for admissions. Most of the colleges do not need any entrance exam for UG course.
