While reporting at the HPCET exam centres, the candidates will be required to present their identity proofs along with the admit card. Any one of the following identity proofs will be accepted by the authorites at the HPCET exam centres - Aadhaar card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, any Government approved identity proof. The original identity proofs should be presented and photocopies will not be accepted.

If candidates complete the HPCET application form but fail to submit the required fee, the authorities will not consider their application. Hence, candidates are urged to exercise caution when filling out the form and ensure payment before the deadline. The HPCET application fee must be paid online via net banking/credit card/debit card; alternative payment methods will not be accepted.

No. The authorities do not open the correction facility for HPCET application process. Therefore, the candidates are advised to be careful while filling out the HPCET application form. In case of any errors, they are advised to contact the authorities immediately. If the authorities decide to commence the HPCET application form correction facility, then the details will be announced.

No. Candidates will not be able to pay the HPCET application fee offline. The fee payment has to be done online i.e, through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI. The authorities will not accept any other mode of payment. To make the application fee payment, the candidates will have to fill out the HPCET application form with the required details. Without the fee payment, the application form will not be accepted.

While filling out the HPCET application form, the candidates will have to upload their scanned photograph and signature as per the offiical specifications. The recent coloured scanned passport-size photograph should be 3.5cm x 4.5cm in dimension. For both the photograph and signature, the file size is maximum 100KB. Both the scanned documents should be uploaded in JPEG/JPG/PNG/PDF format.

While filling out the HPCET application form, the candidates will have to provide important details related to their personal, academic and contact information. Some of the details that have to be filled out in the application form of HPCET are - name, gender, category, parent's name, 12th standard hall ticket number, 12th standard marks, address, identification proof details, etc. All of the submitted details have to be valid and according to the documents possessed by the candidates.

HPCET 2026 exam date will be released online at himtu.ac.in. The authorities will conduct HPCET 2026 as a pen-and-paper-based test at various examination centres. The other important dates of HPCET 2026 are expected to be released soon. Candidates are advised to carefully check the dates so that they do not miss out on any important events.

HPCET 2026 application form dates will be announced soon. Students will be able to access the HPCET application form online. To participate in the entrance exam, the candidates will have to fill out and submit the application form before the final date. After the final date, the authorities will not accept any applications. All required details have to be submitted carefully in the application form.

HPCET 2026 counselling dates will be announced soon. All candidates will have to participate in the HPCET counselling process for allotment into the BTech courses offered by the participating institutes. The selection of courses had to be done in the order of preference. The allotment will be done as per the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability.

After the HPCET results are declared, the candidates will have to participate in the counselling process. During the counselling process, the candidates will have to register, upload documents, fill out choices and pay the fee. However, the candidates who have a valid HPCET score will not be required to pay the counselling fee. All registered candidates will have to report to the counselling venue for seat allotment. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability.
