Hello,

Admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) program in the Government College of Pharmacy in Rohru is mainly based on the HPCET scores. However, cutoff marks are variable every year depending on the number of applicants and the difficulty of the exam and some historical data provides some insight. For example, during previous counseling, in the General category cutoff ranks were between 93.6% to 95.6%. These marks were indicated for informational purposes and may change from year to year.

The last year cutoff of Computer Science courses in the HPCET was 20% for the general category candidates and 15% for the reserved categories. For HPCET 2023, it was a minimum of 55% in Class 12 for the general category and 50% for the reserved categories. Admission will be on the basis of merit in the HPCET exam and the number of applicants and seats available. These cutoffs are indicative and may vary each year based on overall exam performance and institutional policies.

For the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2024, candidates must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31, 2024. Since your date of birth is 27-10-2007, you will be 17 years old before the specified date and eligible to apply for the B Pharmacy course through HPCET. You can proceed with filling out the form as long as you meet other eligibility requirements.

The result for HPCET 2024 is expected to be announced in June 2024, shortly after the examination is conducted in May. Candidates can check their results online using their name or roll number, and the merit list will be prepared based on HPCET and JEE Main scores. These results will also be displayed on the notice board at the university campus.

Candidates will not be allowed to bring electronic items inside the HPCET exam centre. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, laptops, calculators, smart watches, etc., are strictly prohibited. If the candidates are found to possess these items inside the centre, then they will be disqualified. The HPCET exam centres will not have the facility to store these items, so the candidates are advised to leave them at their home or with their guardians.
