The authorities will release HPCET result online. Candidates will be able to check their obtained scores and ranks through the HPCET result. The given steps can be followed to check the result of HPCET. No other mode will be used to release the HPCET result.
- Go to himtu.ac.in
- Click on the result link.
- Candidates will have to provide their Login ID and password.
- Go to 'Login'
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- After checking the details, the candidates can download the result in the form of a rank card.

To prepare for HPCET, students can create a study timetable. While preparing the timetable, students should divide the official syllabus and topics so that they cover everything before exam. Mock tests and revision should also be included in the timetable. Timetable should be prepared according to student's aptitude.

Mock tests are important for HPCET preparation. By attempting mock tests, candidates can understand exam pattern and how the entrance examination will be conducted. Mock test also allow candidates to know their commonly made mistakes and help them correct it so that same do not occur during examination. Another advantage of regularly attempting mock tests is that candidates will be able to work on their time management skills.

No. HPCET will be held offline i.e., as a pen-and-paper-based test. Candidates will have to report to their allotted centre and attempt the examination in offline mode. HPCET consists of multiple-choice questions that have to be attempted in 3 hours 15 minutes. All of the answers have to be marked in OMR sheets. The entrance examination will not be held in any other mode.

Candidates should prepare for entrance exam using entire HPCET syllabus. Since question paper will be prepared using topics of syllabus, it will help students if they are familiar with official syllabus. Some important topics can also be selected and students can focus on them more.

HPCET syllabus will be prepared and released online by the authorities. The subjects, topics and units that need to be studied for the upcoming entrance examination is released through the HPCET syllabus. Candidates are advised to refer to the official syllabus to understand what is to be studied and prepared to perform well in the examination. HPCET syllabus consists of the topics and units from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Along with the syllabus, the candidates are advised to check the official HPCET exam pattern.

Candidates will have to pay exam fee for HPCET application form to register for the exam. They can make fee payment online through net banking/debit card/credit card/UPI. HPCET application fee for SC/ST/BPL category candidates is INR 800 and other category candidates will pay INR 1,600. If candidates fail to pay the fee, then their application will be rejected.
