While reporting to the allotted colleges to confirm their admission through HPCET counselling, the candidates will have to present certain documents for verification. If the candidates unable to present their documents for verification, then they will not be able to confirm their admission. The list of certificates to be presented for verification are listed below.

HPCET counselling will be held in online mode. Qualified candidates will be required to fill out the application form for the HPCET counselling process online. Yes, the authorities do prepare tie-breaking rules in case two or more candidates secure the same marks in HPCET or the qualifying exam. In such situations, firstly, the candidates who have a higher HPCET score in Physics will be ranked higher, followed by Chemistry. In case the tie still remains, then the qualifying examination marks will be taken into consideration for allotment of ranks. Finally, if the tie does not break, then the candidates who are older in age will be allotted the higher rank.

No. HPCET will be held offline i.e., as a pen-and-paper-based test. Candidates will have to report to their allotted centre and attempt the examination in offline mode. HPCET consists of multiple-choice questions that have to be attempted in 3 hours 15 minutes. All of the answers have to be marked in OMR sheets. The entrance examination will not be held in any other mode.
