From wherever you do MBA in human resource management, you have a very less scope because only one HR is required for 1000 employees. So, better understand the ratio. It's better to do a dual specialisation of marketing/finance with HR in MBA.
Best wishes.

Hi,
With the e-commerce field still in the boom, the logistics will always be an evergreen subject. The trouble though is getting into a company. Campus placements are the best way to enter the domain in a good position. But otherwise getting into a company is difficult because of its lucrative competition. Else, you can always be in a core industry and be a part of procurement or delivery team.

Yes, HR specialisation have good placements. Though the initial offers are slightly lower than other specializations. But, taking the uniqueness of the roles into consideration, people tend to get good hikes in future. Many top institutes of India like XIMB, TISS SCMHRD, and NMIMS have good placements for HR.

In my view MBA-Finance is better option. Any organisation needs more finance specialist. Roles like Credit analyst, Risk Analyst, Finance Consultant, Account Manager, Relationship Manager and similar other roles. Job offers are across various sectors like Banking, IT, Manufacturing, finance-Tech. Though HR also has job roles in these sectors, but the number is higher for Finance roles.

ITM has top companies coming to the campus with a variety of job profiles. The placement process at ITM gives the students opportunities to make their careers in the widest range of industries. Hi Kamal,

You have a 5 years of work experience and that is a plus point. Most of the applicants are mostly freshers or they barely have 2 to 3 years' experience. So, they don' t get the weightage for work experience that much. Your first step should be to take a mock CAT examination, which will reveal the areas you have to brush on and the areas you have to put an extra effort on. Also, you are eligible for the executive MBA programme that is specially designed for experienced candidates for you. It is a 1 year MBA programme.
