It depends on the stream that you will be pursuing in. Marketing and Finance are extremely good in terms of ROI and placements. Market is extremely unstable, so we cannot be too certain about the placements based on the average placements. Things may change, first be sure about what stream you want to switch into. Being from an IT industry with 2 years of experience, I found my work extremely monotonous and not challenging enough. So, I decided to pursue Management - HR division. I needed a complete career change. If you think it is worth it to spend INR 15 Lacs and invest 2 years of your time here, go for it. Else, you can always wait

As far as XIME-Bangalore is concerned, the HR department is not booming really well. Nevertheless, things may change over time, so we cannot say anything as the market is very unstable. The teaching faculty, the companies visiting the campus are extremely good. Even the roles offered are pretty good. But, I cannot guarantee a high package in XIME. I am not too sure about IMT-Nagpur, but ROI for HR field is not up to the mark in XIME.

Above are good for sales mainly. Xavearian group colleges are best for HR (Xiss, Xime blore, XiB, Xime Kochi) etc. If you have healthy score card try there first. In our Delhi ncr based so called reputed college HR guys were given hardcore sales profile due to not availability of profile. IMT, Nagpur is good for HR. Companies like ICICI Lombard, HIL, Apollo Tubes, TCS, Blue Star and ABRL come to the campus to offer HR related placements. The highest package offered overall is 12 LPA. Also, we have some of the best faculty members on campus who have wide industry experience.

Dear Rajkiran,
Since, you have already completed your PG from HR, you can continue in the same field. HR is a very important department for any organisation. If you have interest in accounts/finance field than go for CFA Exam. Level-1 and Level-2 will be easier to crack. You can also look for courses in HR.
