The IIEST Shibpur MSc placements for 2024 have been announced. However, as per the overall placement report, a total of 72 job offers were made to the postgraduate students, and 63 students have been placed. The the highest package offered was INR 39.31 LPA. In contrast, in the 2023 placements, the the highest package offered was INR 51 LPA. During 2023 and 2024, the number of recruiters reduced from 166 to 144, which accounted for a fairly modest decline in placements. Companies that featured among the top lists included Google, Microsoft, L&T, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, EY, KPMG, and PwC.

The mode of IIEST Shibpur course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on entrance examination scores and merit. The accepted entrance exams at IIEST Shibpur are JEE Main, DASA UG, and others. Candidates willing to get admission must first visit the official website of the college. Then click on the Apply Now tab. Then select the required course and pay the application fee. Fill out the application form with the required information. Submit the application form.

IIEST Shibpur BTech students are placed in top companies in top sectors. BTech students can become Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and Chemical Engineers, or can take up various jobs relevant to their stream. The Engineering faculty is quite experienced and has years of successful professional experience in relevant fields. Hence, BTech from IIEST Shibpur is worth pursuing.

No, getting admission to various courses offered at IIEST Shibpur is not hard for hardowing and dedicated students. The admissions are primarily based on JEE Main scores. The cut offs are quite competitive but they are still attainable for various course students with a good prior preparation. The difficulty level can greatly vary depending on the specific branch and category student is applying to.
