Can I get admission in IIIT - Allahabad? I have scored 62 in JEE mains and nearly 80% in class 12th boards. I live in Mumbai.

For 4year Btech cutoff is around 10k and for 5year Integrated Btech Mtech it goes to about 16k depending on the Mtech specialization.

For 4 year Btech IT it is around 10k while for the 5 year integratec Btech Mtech courses it can go to about 16k depending on the Mtech specialization offered along with the Btech.

Depends on your criteria and personal interest. If you want to know only for IT, this is one of the best coding environments in the country. But beyond that, no other branches are there in this institute so if you are not sure about the branch you want to take, you might want to give it a second tho

Is it necessary to apply in colleges after JEE Mains entrance exam or colleges get automatically allotted to the students?

You have to fill the preferences on the CSAB /JOSAA website and allotment is done automatically based on the rank and prefernces. You do not have to apply separately until allotment is done and you wish to accept the allotment atleast for the time being.
