Along with providing scholarships, IILM University, Gurugram also has a formal partnership with :

  • HDFC Bank
  • Kotak Mahindra Bank

In order to support students in funding their education. This means that students of IILM will be given priority when applying for education loans at these banks.

It must be noted that all loan approvals remain contingent upon the students' adherence to the banks' established terms and their ability to provide the required documentation.

Relationships can survive—and even thrive—during hostel life at IILM University, but like anywhere else, they require understanding, trust, and balance. The campus environment is vibrant and dynamic, offering many shared spaces and events that allow students to spend quality time together, be it through clubs, fests, or academic collaborations. However, hostel regulations, academic commitments, and personal schedules can pose challenges. Successful relationships often grow stronger through open communication, mutual respect for boundaries, and emotional support during stressful academic phases. With maturity and a shared sense of p

Hostel life at IILM teaches students invaluable life lessons that go far beyond the classroom. Living away from home fosters independence, adaptability, and self-discipline as students learn to manage their time, finances, and daily routines on their own. It encourages interpersonal growth through shared living—navigating differences, building friendships, and developing empathy. The hostel environment also nurtures a strong sense of community, where late-night study sessions, casual discussions, and cultural celebrations create lasting memories and a support system. These experiences build emotional intelligence, resilience, and lea

As a current student, the following were my reasons for joining IILM:

  • Variety of courses and flexibility
  • Availability of electives outside course! E.g. Pursing BBA and having core subjects relating to that but being able to also have subjects from School of Design, Liberal Arts, Department of Psychology e.t.c.
  • Knowledgeable faculty who are also extremely helpful and understanding.
  • Prime location of campus
  • A lot of options for extracurriculars - a variety of clubs ( Culture, dance, journalism, law, sports, mental health, dance, design e.t.c) and sports facilities ( zumba room, basketball, pickleball, badminton e.t.c)
  • Modern and efficient Infr

Definitely. I've seen students get placed in companies like Deloitte, EY, HDFC Bank, and more. The average package is decent for a private university, and the placement cell supports students well with resume polishing, mock interviews, and one-on-one mentorship.

There is a structured placement training programme which cover aptitude, soft skills, interview techniques, and even personal branding. Students also get to attend networking events, guest lectures, and industry visits. So, it's not just theory, it's real-world skills for students at IILM.

Orientation! It's more fun than formal. You get to meet faculty, understand the campus, and participate in ice-breaking sessions. Clubs also start recruiting and organizing their first events it's the best way to start interacting with people.

I'd recommend the hostel, especially in your first year. It helps you settle in faster, make friends, and stay involved in events and clubs. Everything is within walking distance, and honestly, hostel life has its own fun late-night Maggi, group study sessions, and movie nights. PG might give more freedom, but you miss out on campus vibes.

100%. It's messy, emotional, and chaotic — but also beautiful, unforgettable, and full of growth. The memories you make here stick with you for life. It's not just about living — it's about becoming.
