Perfect infrastructure and facilities .

Placements: Companies like Amazon, Adani, Adobe, Amul, Bank of America, Byju's, Google, etc. are our past recruiters. Students were also offered international internships at RMIT University, University of Washington, etc. More of the placement and internship information is available on CDS IIT Gandhinagar website.

Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is undoubtedly exceptional. Since it is a 2nd-generation IIT, it is well built with all the facilities provided. The hostels as well as the academic area have comprehensive infrastructure. The food and medical services are of high quality.

Faculty: The professors here are friendly and helpful. Their high qualifications and knowledge contribute to their quality behavior. As far as I have known, the course curriculum does make the students industry-ready. The difficulty of exams depends on professors; they cannot explicitly say if they are difficult or easy; it varies according to different courses .

Short Glimpse At IIT Gandhinagar.

Placements: Nearly 60% of students were placed in my course (Chemical Engineering), the highest salary so far was offered 52 LPA by Zomato, the average salary was around 12 LPA, and the lowest salary was around 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Barclay, DE Shaw, media, Oracle, etc. Top roles offered in our course are manager.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is very nice. All the electricity comes from the solar panel. Currently, the solar panel capacity is 500kwp, 120kwp for hostels, and 190kwp of solar carport. We can see some buildings will have sharp edges which is unique. Also, the mess and canteen facilities are also quite good. There will be a spicy meal counter and a normal meal counter in the mess. The sports complex on our campus is equipped with a wide range of facilities. It offers a diverse array of sports, including squash.

Faculty: The professors are very friendly to teach the course. The course curriculum will be applicable mostly in our daily life. The content covered in the class will be very much less, only the fundamentals part will teach in the class. From the exam point of view there will be some easy to moderate questions and there will be very challenging and confusing questions that are difficult to approach. The pass percentage is nearly 30%.

Other: With the JEE rank that I got, I have chosen this chemical engineering branch. The best thing about my branch is it is very much hill branch compared to other branches. Also, we can do simultaneous coding, which would be helpful from the computing point of view. One of the events which was organized by our institute is Blitchron. It is a 2 cultural fest. The campus crowd is nearly 2000. In our B. Tech 22 branch, the strength was only 280 students. It is very much less compared to other IITs.

The college has really good infrastructure, and it focuses more on research rather than placements.

Placements: Almost 60-70% of students get placements in chemical engineering. The chemical branch is something that requires some higher studies, and therefore, most students go for research or M.Tech. The highest package offered was 22 LPA, and the average package was approximately 12-13 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Reliance, Indian Oil, Tata Chemicals etc. A great number of students get internships, and a large number of students get internships from foreign companies.

Infrastructure: This college has a great infrastructure. You will get a 5-star hotel-like hostel if you get the new hostel here. Wi-Fi speed is approximately 90 mbps, but you will get a great speed on LAN. The mess is very good. 4 canteens are also available. They have got 5-star rating from FSSAI. You will get 24-hour medical facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable except for some assistant professors. They will help you if you have language problems. All the courses have the same syllabus in the first year. Semester exams are quite hard. You will have some extra time after classes to get a good CPI. The pass percentage varies from teacher to teacher, and we have relative grading.

This is a place for unlimited learning and joy.

Placements: More than 70-80% of students are placed. Top companies recruit like Google, Adobe, etc., same for internships, around 40-50% of students get internships. But the process is still going on. Students seeking industrial jobs get internships in some of the most top-rated companies.

Infrastructure: It provides LAN or Wi-Fi in every corridor, and Wi-Fi in every room for new hostels. It has a huge library and a mini-library that is open 24X7. Laboratories are well-equipped. Students have a brand new sports complex coming up that would contain all the games students could name them.

Faculty: Professors are highly qualified. Many of them have a Ph.D. from highly acclaimed universities across the world. The course curriculum of any IIT is more or less standard across all the IITs. Most of the students get placed easily and this is due to the empowering faculty members and curriculum.

Infrastructure is good, and college life is better.

Placements: About 60% of the students got placed in the last batch. The highest salary package offered is about 15 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is about 4 LPA and the average salary package offered is about 7 LPA. Top companies include DRDO, HPCL, etc. More than 80% of the students got an internship in companies. Both academic and industrial internships are available.

Infrastructure: It is one of the new IITs. Hence infrastructure is very good. For the chemical department, different labs and classrooms are available. The library has sufficient reading materials for the chemical department. All others like hostel and food are rated as 4 stars. For games and sports, a brand new complex had built which is still to open due to covid.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhD holders from top universities of the world. Faculty members are very good in terms of teaching quality and are knowledgeable. The course is more relevant to the academic career like who wants to go deep in research and that area. It provides sufficient industrial knowledge.

Other: As it is a new IIT, fests and events are not that popular. But as time progresses, it would be popular. Many scholarships are offered on our campus. Our college is at its best, and there are no restrictions on students' life. You can spend the whole night outside the hostel or campus, and there are no restrictions on visiting girls hostel even at night.

Satisfied with the teachers. Good placement in 2019.

Placements: 100% students were placed in my course last year. Top recruiting companies were GOOGLE, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and many more. The highest package was 16 Lacs. The lowest package was 7 Lacs Average package was 10 Lacs. 99% got internship in my course in companies like Tech Mahindra, Genapct, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities of my department is awesome. Infrastructure is modern. Classrooms are fully air conditioned and Wi-Fi connectivity signal strength is excellent. Quality of facilities in hostels are great. Quality of food in the mess and canteen is yummy and delicious.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and have strong work ethic as well as passion towards their subject. Teachers are technologically capable. Teachers are highly qualified as they are IIT's and Ph.D. holders. Teachers have deep knowledge of their subject matter and they teach the student in very interesting manner.

Other: I choose this course because I have interest in technical terms and I have technical skills as well. Events, Fest, Extra curricular activities are done so many during year which are helpful as well.

Placements: The placements were good in senior batch and also in my batch. Firstly, the students have to fill the form whether they want to sit in the placements or not. After that, every student uploads resume on the Google drive, and he/she receives a lot of comments to make it better. Around, 80 percent of the students got placed in my batch. The highest salary was 16 LPA, and the lowest was 3.6 LPA. The companies like IOCL, HPCL, Cognizant, Capgemini, some startup companies, Future First, Cadila, TCS, and many IT companies came for the placement. The roles ranging from technical to marketing and coding were offered. In the 3rd year, the students get the opportunity to work in industries and research. Around, 30 percent of the students go to foreign universities for research in their respective field. The stipend is enough to manage your livelihood, and you can also save some money. Some students also got the pre-placement offer from the company, where they worked as an intern.

Infrastructure: Our campus is new, so it has one the best hostels. The Wi-Fi facility is available for 24-hours. There are labs for every department, and almost every facility is available to conduct the smooth experiments. The classrooms are well-equipped with A/C. There are two canteens, one in the academic area and the other in the hostels. There are four snacks shops, which remain open till 3 am. The food quality is good, and you have a lot of options. I did not face any infrastructure related issue in my four years.

Faculty: The course curriculum is diverse. The students can pursue minor in the other areas(humanities, physics, computer science etc.,). Now there is an option for the dual degree also. The faculty members were good in teaching except one or two. They all are knowledgeable. You can ask the doubts any time in class and also after the class. Every faculty has his/her method of teaching. Some prefer to have surprise quiz in the class, and some prefer to have certain marks for attendance. We got some industry exposures. We went to Amul and Sheela Foam industry to see the chemical processes in real. The curriculum was flexible and useful.

Other: Every year, we have two big events, one is the technical event and the other is the cultural event. The footfall is around 6,000 to 8,000. Apart from that, we have many intra-college events(technical, cultural, and sports). The students also get the scholarship in study, sports, arts, culture, etc.

Placements: 6-7 LPA is the average package offered in the placements, and before, it was very less active in the placements because of the setting up of a new campus and having a temporary campus put an effect on the placement data. Now there are various tie-ups which ensure good campus placements such as ITC, HPCL, IOCL etc. Things are changing rapidly and the placement average is rising exponentially.

Infrastructure: It has a new, green campus along the bank of the Sabarmati river and great hostel amenities like solar water heaters and various sports grounds near the hostel premises. The academic block is well-equipped with labs and books in the library. A great environment for learning new things.

Faculty: The faculty members of this institute are young and dynamic with great industrial as well as academic experience. They are great in teaching and are moving forward for you to get success. They have a good approach towards some of the great institutions in the world such as Caltech, Duke etc.

The aggregate marks for PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
