IIT gandhinagar pros and cons.

Placements: Around 95 percent of students get placed here in the civil branch, where one sits for the placement and the other prepares for the civil service examination. The top recruiting company is LNT. They are given higher posts in the company after the recruitment. On around 100 percent is the internship.

Infrastructure: The hostel and infrastructure are very nice, and the labs are well equipped with all the necessary machines required for the industry. The hostel premises have a very high-speed internet facility provided. The hostel staff is also very cooperative. Mess food is very delicious.

Faculty: The faculty here are very well educated, they have very high expertise in there subjects, and their teaching ability is out of the box. The course curriculum is very well designed, keeping in mind industry aspects. The exam level is quite tough, and you have to study constantly for a good GPA and CGPA.

Other: "The events here are outstanding and the campus life is very exciting."

Our college provides world class infrastructure and very good academics.

Placements: Around 91.85% of B.Tech students got placed in 2022 with a median salary package of 15.35 LPA. The highest salary package offered by DE Shaw is 50 LPA and the lowest salary package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DE Shaw, Texas, Adani, Salesforce, Nike, and Mathworks.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is world-class. Hostel facilities are the best with fully air-conditioned rooms and Wi-Fi. There are three messes such as Mohini, Jaiswal, and Hetchint. All these can be rated 5 stars by FSSAI. Food quality is the best. Sports facilities are very good with a synthetic track for athletics and an Olympic size swimming pool. All the sports are available.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good, well-educated, and supportive. They guide students in every situation. Most of them have master's degrees or Ph.D. in foreign countries. The course curriculum is good with sports like PE course that makes students fit. Exams are a bit difficult. All students pass the exams if they focus on their studies for 3 hours regularly.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the construction sector. Our college organises Amalthea, which is India's first student-run technical fest in November every year. Many fests like Blithcorn, Jasn, and Intra Sports League are held in our college. Around 4000 students are studying in our college.

Very good Infrastructure and the best part is freedom. Even boy and girls can live together.

Placements: Only ten students out of thirty students are placed in recent time. The highest package of civil branch was 24 Lacs per year and the lowest package was 8 Lacs per year and avergae was 14 Lacs per year. There are so many companies arrived for all the streams and the top recruiting company were Gel india or Adani.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are very good and very easy to accessible. You don't need to take any permission to go to lab you can do your work wherever you want. Also it has best hostel life in India because of its 5 star rating hostel which are equipped with fully Wi-Fi and airconditioner.

Faculty: All the faculty is well educated. Generally all the professors did their Ph.D. from world's best universities. Here we can SEE very good interaction between professor and students. Every students can work under with any professor they want. Herw we can explore all the possible sector that can achieved by us.

Review of IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in core branches are very low here. In recent years, the CSE branch has started, so the average salary package offered will be high. For the CSE branch, good companies visited here like Amazon, Nautix and Goldman Sachs. Specifically for our branch, L&T and other companies will visit here to offer placements with a salary package of around 7 LPA to 10 LPA. The average salary package offered here is around 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel is well maintained here, and many new hostels are being built. They all are super, and there is access to all rooms. In the new hostels, all rooms have a Wi-Fi facility. The canteen is super, and our college is awarded as Eats Right campus. Hostel, sports, canteen and all are of the top level. Recently a new sports complex was built. Many new and exciting things have been built.

Faculty: All faculty members here are PhD holders from foreign universities or from top IITs. They help us very much in projects and are quite supportive. But one quite annoying thing is that there are many courses which we have to choose as core subjects. There are very less subjects in the core branch, which we studied during the semester compared to other IITs. Many important subjects are not available in the course curriculum. So, students have to manage to study some subjects on their own.

I am satisfied with the facilities, and student life is awesome. There are decent placements.

Placements: Overall, the placement rate was around 60% here. Many of the students opted for a masters course and post-graduation programme. Internship opportunities were provided by Caltech. Many students got placed with the role of analysts. From the civil engineering branch, students opted for geo-tech interns and management interns.

Infrastructure: It is the best campus, and it is ergonomically well built and quite inclusive. There are the least possible restrictions, and there is no restriction for girls and boys to interact and to go to each other hostels. Hostel rooms are equipped with air-conditioners, and every hostel has its own common room with different utilities. The food served in the canteen is decent, and the mess is awesome. Our college has been awarded the best mess food award 2 times consecutively. Wi-Fi facilities are provided with 40 GB data for 15 days with more than enough speed.

Faculty: There is a flexible course curriculum, and students can choose the course which they want to opt. The time table has been prepared in such a way that students can choose one or two extra subjects as per their interest. The course curriculum is relevant and not restricted to a particular branch. Rather it provides an opportunity to explore other branches. It helps to opt for minors, majors and Honours as well.

Other: Our college organises a technical summit named Amalthea, which is completely student-driven. Furthermore, cultural fest named Blithchron is also well renowned. There are different clubs where you can participate in. The campus is a bit outside the main city, but there is a facility of bus service every half an hour. So, it won't be a major problem.

Our college has the best faculty members in India and best infrastructure.

Placements: About 50% of the students will get placed from our course with the lowest salary package of 3 LPA and the highest salary package of 18 LPA. L&T and HPCL are the main companies which offer placements here. Almost 100% of the students get internships. For internships, companies like Oyo, JB Cement, HPCL, etc., visit our college. Civil engineering is one of the best branches in this institute

Infrastructure: Our college has a high-class infrastructure, and we get a Wi-Fi facility of 40GB for every 15 days. Our campus is in the 1st position in India in terms of providing healthy food. It is awarded as the 1st position by one of the best food rankings. Sports are also one of the important activities for students to participate. Our college also conducts tournaments and inter IIT sports meet.

Faculty: Civil engineering has one of the best faculty members in India. Our collage contains 6 qualified professors, and I am proud that our campus is designed by our faculty members. The course curriculum is very clear and will be offered to students before taking the course. It makes the students industry-ready

Other: Every year our college conducts a total of 5 to 7 fests, including cultural, technical and sports fests. Scholarships are also provided, and there are many clubs for extracurricular activities.

Placements: IIT-GN has the best placements in Gujarat. All the branches get very good packages every year. All the leading countries from across India come at IIT-GN. In the civil branch, the average package offered is Rs. 9 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is Rs. 25 lakhs per annum as the IITs are producing the quality engineers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IIT-GN is word class. It is situated on the bank of river Sabarmati. IIT-GN provides 24HR free Wi-Fi facility with a speed of 30MBPS. We have two computer labs. Both the labs have around 180 modern computers with 24HR internet. The classrooms are world class with the facilities of projectors and screens. We have a big library. We have one football, one cricket, one basketball, two volleyball, one hockey, five badminton grounds and four TT tables. There are many canteens like food nest, anytime snacks and juice shop.

Faculty: The teachers are world class. They are graduated from the world's best colleges. They focus on the technical knowledge. We have some professors from USA and Japan. The President of India awarded professor MR Micheal Danino Padma Bhushan. The interaction of the faculty with the students is very good. In every month we go to the industry exposure.

Other: IIT-GN celebrates each festival. We have many cultural events like jashn, winter carnantio, blitchron. Amalthea is a technical fest of IIT-GN in which many students come from entire Gujarat with their projects. This college provides a college bus which is free of cost.

Other: The tag of IIT itself describe the level of faculty, Students, Research facilities, sports, extra-curricular development of students etc. Our institute focus on enhancing leadership quality in students. Every year many students switch towards start-up and became entrepreneurship. In such a small tenure it is well established. Each year 30% of students from 3rd year go for abroad research internship which show a good collaboration with foreign university. Students are offered so many courses in addition to core courses. Every student have to compulsory do 8 Humanities and Social Science course in his/her four years. This Institute also started M.A program previous year. There is no restriction on attendance, going outside at night. Institute provides 24 hours Wi-Fi facilities with good surfing and downloading speed.
