As per JoSAA Closing ranks IIT Gandhinagar cutoff was 1576 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 4592 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The closing rank for different MSc courses ranged between 413 and 438. During 2023, the cutoff rank for MSc in Chemistry was 446 and in 2022, it stood at 352.
