To get admission into IIT Hyderabad, the candidate must qualify the CEED exam and attain the required score. IIT Hyderabad MDes cutoff 2024 is based on CEED scores 2024 followed by the round-wise CEED Counselling. IIT Hyderabad CEED cutoff 2024 is out for Part A. Students on Shiksha rated IIT Hyderabad 4.5 out of 5 in terms of campus life, infrastructure and safety. In terms of safety, the institute maintains tight security and safety for the students. There are separate hostels for boys, girls and faculty. Reviewers on unofficial platforms claim that the campus is ragging-free.

Candidates wanting to get admission to IIT Hyderabad for BTech course must clear JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced. The minimum eligibility includes scoring at least 75% aggregate marks in Class 12 exam. For SC/ST/PwD students, the minimum score required in Class 12 is 65%. The minimum JEE Main percentile required at IIT Hyderabad for BTech course is 98-99 percentile. This percentile may vary from year to year.

IIT Hyderabad offers various UG, PG, PhD courses in the streams of Engineering and Science. To get admission to IIT Hyderabad for MSc course, the minimum eligibility is a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 55% aggregate marks.
