JEE Advanced 2024 Application Form: IIT Madras will release the JEE Advanced application form 2024 on April 21. However, for the foreign nationals, the registration will start on April 15, 2024. The last to apply for JEE Advanced 2024 is April 30 and the deadline to pay the application fee is May 6 for both Indian and Foreign nationals. JEE Advanced 2024 registration will start on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. The top 2.5 lakh candidates of JEE Main 2024 AIR list can apply for JEE Advanced 2024. The process to apply for JEE Advanced includes logging in using the JEE Main application number and password, filling out the registration form, uploading scanned documents, paying the online application fee, and lastly downloading and printing the registration receipt.
Please note that there are no provisions for correcting the details filled in the online JEE Advanced 2024 form. Once the application form is submitted and the application fee is paid, editing or any form of correction is not possible. Therefore, it is crucial for candidates to carefully read, fill and submit the JEE Advanced application form. In the online form, candidates must enter their preferred choices of four exam cities in the order of preference to appear for the JEE Advanced CBT. Based on their selection, candidates will be allotted exam centres in one of the four cities they chose. The JEE Advanced centre allotted to the candidates will be mentioned on their admit card, which will only be issued to registered candidates. - Payment by Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI: Once the candidate clicks “Pay Registration Fee”, the system will present multiple payment gateway options. As per the candidates' convenience, they may select any of the payment gateways and options like Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI. After successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the “Registration Details” with the UNIQUE Registration number.

To know the eligibility and to be able to appear for the exam, check the eligibility criteria below:
Eligibility Criteria for Indian Nationals and OCI/PIO Candidates who have Secured OCI/PIO Card Before March 4, 2021:
- Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1999. In countries where a minimum stint in the armed forces (or allied) for a certain period is mandatory before/after Class XII (or equivalent) examination, the candidate will be given a relaxation of the required number of years.
- A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
- A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2023 or 2024 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past.
- Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in BE/BTech Paper of JEE (Main) 2024. The JEE main 2024 cutoff scores to appear in JEE Advanced 2024 are as follows:

- Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1999. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e, these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1994.

Who is Eligible to Register as Foreign National or OCI/PIO Candidate is JEE Advanced?
Check who is considered as Foreign National and OCI/PIO candidate in JEE Advanced below:
Foreign Candidates:
- Candidates who are NOT citizens of India (by birth or naturalized) (but not Overseas Citizens of India / Persons of Indian Origin (OCI/PIO) candidates who have secured OCI/PIO card on or after 04.03.2021) shall be considered as FOREIGN NATIONALS.
- The foreign national candidates, at the time of registering for JEE (Advanced) 2024 are NOT required to write JEE (Main) 2024 and may register for JEE (Advanced) 2024 directly subject to fulfilment of other eligibility criteria mentioned below.
- All foreign national candidates will be considered in addition to, and not as a part of the 2,50,000 Indian national candidates who qualify for appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2024.
- All the seats allotted to foreign national candidates will be supernumerary with a cap of 10% of the total number of seats in every course. These candidates are outside the ambit of reservation of seats under the GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD categories/sub-categories as specified in the Information Brochure of JEE (Advanced) 2024. There are no separate supernumerary seats or sub-categories for females in the foreign national supernumerary seats.
OCI/PIO Candidates:
- As per the decision passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) 891 / 2021, the OCI/PIO candidates shall be considered Indian nationals.
- OCI/PIO candidates who have studied or are studying in India/abroad at 10+2 level or equivalent at the time of registering for JEE (Advanced) 2024 are NOT required to write JEE (Main) 2024 and may register for JEE (Advanced) 2024 directly subject to fulfilment of other eligibility criteria mentioned below. All OCI/PIO candidates will be considered in addition to, and not as a part of the 2,50,000 Indian national candidates who qualify for appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2024. This is a one-time measure applicable only for the year 2024.
- At the time of seat allocation, the OCI/PIO candidates shall be considered for the seats in the OPEN category [ref. decision dated February 03, 2024, passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) 891 / 2021]. The OCI/PIO candidates shall be included in the Common Rank List, and/or CRL-PwD list as also for the Female Supernumerary seats, as applicable, subject to qualifying the JEE (Advanced) 2024 [see Clause 22: Rank List]. The OCI/PIO candidates are not entitled to the benefit of reservation under the GEN-EWS, OBC (NCL), SC or ST categories for the allocation of seats. The OCI/PIO candidates shall be considered for seat allocation under the OPEN and OPEN-PwD categories as also for the Female Supernumerary seats, as applicable, at the time of seat allocation.
Important change this year: As per the decision dated February 03, 2023, passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) 891 / 2021, the OCI/PIO candidates who have secured OCI/PIO card before 04.03.2021 shall be considered as Indian nationals.

How to Fill JEE Advanced 2024 Application Form?

Step 1: Login
Since JEE Advanced form can be filled by candidates who qualify the JEE Main 2024 cutoff, only such candidates can register for JEE Advanced.
Step 2: Fill registration form
- Candidates have to furnish some details in the registration form. JEE Main details in the form will be prefilled from the JEE Main 2024 database.

JEE Advanced 2024 Application Form Correction
There are no provisions for correction in details filled in the online JEE Advanced 2024 form. Once the application form is submitted and the application fee is paid, the forms cannot be accessed for editing or any sort of correction. Therefore candidates must carefully read, fill and submit the JEE Advanced application form 2024. The detals in the application form will be used in admit card, the result and also in the final admission/counselling. Hence the candidates must be very cautious while submitting the JEE Advanced form. Check all details twice before the final submission of the form.

JEE Advanced 2024 Application Form for Services of Scribe
The PwD candidates who are visually impaired OR dyslexic (severe) OR have a disability in the upper limbs OR have lost fingers/hands thereby preventing them from properly operating the Computer Based Test platform may avail the services of a scribe.
PwD candidates who desire to avail the services of a scribe need to opt for this during the online registration of JEE Advanced 2024.
Note that: The scribe will help the candidate only in reading the questions and/or keying in the answers as per the directions of the candidate. A scribe will neither explain the questions nor suggest any solutions.
How to avail a scribe: To avail the services of a scribe, the candidate should request the Chairperson, JEE (Advanced) 2024, of the nearest Zonal Coordinating IIT in the prescribed format (FORM-SCRIBE). The requisition, along with a copy of the PwD certificate (FORM-PwD [II/III/IV, whichever is applicable]) OR a copy of the certificates of Dyslexic Candidate (FORM- DYSLEXIC 1 and DYSLEXIC 2), whichever is applicable, must be uploaded at the time of online registration for JEE (Advanced) 2024.
