JEE Advanced 2022 Application Form: IIT Bombay will commence the JEE Advanced 2022 registrations on August 7. The online JEE advanced application form will be available only through the online registration portal till August 11. The registered candidates will be allowed to complete the application fee payment till August 12. Only the registered candidates will be issued the JEE Advanced 2022 admit card.

JEE Advanced application form 2022 is the first step towards admission to IITs. To fill out the application form candidates have to login into the JEE Advanced portal by entering the JEE Main application number and password. Then candidates have to fill in the online application form. Next candidates have to upload the scanned documents as needed. Finally, they have to pay the application fee and download the PDF of the submitted form. Eligibility to Apply for JEE Advanced 2022

JEE Advanced 2022 eligibility has been relaxed this year. Therefore, to know the eligibility and to be able to appear for the exam, check the eligibility criteria below:

JEE Advanced 2022 eligibility criteria:

  1. Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in BE/BTech Paper of JEE (Main) 2022.
  2. Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1997. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e, these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1992.
  3. A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
  4. A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2021 or 2022 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  5. A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past

Let's talk about the relaxations in the eligibility to apply for JEE Advanced 2022:

The candidates who appeared in class 12th (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2020/2021 and successfully registered for JEE Advanced 2021 but did not appear in the exam

  • These candidates can apply for JEE Advanced 2022 and appear for it.
  • Such candidates do not have to appear or pass JEE Main 2022.
  • Such candidates do not need to fulfil criteria 1 to 4 above.

Candidates who first time appeared for the class 12 exam in 2022.

  • These candidates can apply for JEE Advanced 2022 and appear for it.
  • These candidates should have either appeared for JEE Advanced in 2020 or 2021 or have never appeared for JEE Advanced.
  • These candidates have to register for JEE Main 2022, appear for it and meet the 2.5 lakh cutoff criteria.

JEE Advanced 2022 Application Fee

The following amount is applicable to submit the application form for JEE Advanced 2022. Note that the registration will be not complete until the fee is paid. Hence, keep the below amount ready to be paid via online/offline payment mode:

How to Fill JEE Advanced 2022 Application Form

The application process is pretty simple and self-explanatory. The detailed online form filling guide is as follows:

Step-1: Registration for JEE Advanced 2022

The first step is to register for JEE Advanced 2022. Before filling out the JEE Advanced registration form, candidates should read all the instructions thoroughly. The steps are as follows for registering:

  • Log in on the JEE Advanced registration website using their JEE Main 2022 roll number, password, and security pin.
  • After logging in, candidates need to fill in their academic, personal and contact details, exactly the same as entered at the time of JEE Main 2022 registrations. The required details are displayed on the screen in the 'Read-only' mode.
  • Besides the above details, candidates are required to fill in some additional fields in the JEE Advanced registration form.

Step-2: Uploading documents

At this step, aspirants need to upload the scanned certificates in the required format as given on this page.

Step-3: Payment of JEE Advanced registration fees

After entering all the details and uploading the required document, students have to pay the JEE Advanced registration fee. The fee can be paid in both online and offline mode.

Payment of JEE Advanced registration fees through Online Mode

  • To pay the registration fee online, candidates will be redirected to State Bank Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page after submitting all the mandatory details. At this stage, students can choose one of the options: Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
  • After paying the fee successfully, a unique registration number will be generated. Aspirants can take a printout of this unique number along with their registration details.

Payment of JEE Advanced registration fees through Offline Mode

  • To pay JEE Advanced registration fees via offline mode, aspirants have to select “SBI Branch” to generate the challan at the payment stage. Aspirants can pay the registration fees in cash by using the printout of this challan at any SBI branch.
  • After making the payment, aspirants will have to enter payment details to generate a unique registration number. Now, they will be required to take a printout of their registration details along with the unique number.

Payment by SAARC and Non-SAARC Exam Centre Candidates

  • These aspirants can pay the fees on the MOPS page by using the International Debit/ Credit Card as issued by foreign banks outside India. Payments made in USD are not allowed through Debit/Credit Cards issued in India.
  • After successful payment of the fees, aspirants will be able to print the “Registration Details” with a Unique Registration Number.

Step-4:  Printing of Confirmation Page

After paying the JEE Advanced 2022 application fee successfully, aspirants will need to submit the application form finally and take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe for future use.

Q. When will the JEE Advanced application release?

A. JEE Advanced 2022 application forms will be released on August 7. The registration process will begin only after the declaration final JEE Main result.

Q. What is the application fee for JEE Advanced 2022?

A. The application fee for JEE Advanced varies according to the category of a candidate. General and OBC (male and transgender) candidates are required to pay Rs 2,800 whereas female and other reserved categories candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 1,400 for JEE Advanced 2022.

Q. Can I rectify my category in JEE Advanced registration form after submitting it?

A. No. After submitting the JEE Advanced application form finally, students will not be able to rectify their category. The exam conducting body will not make available any application correction window.

Q. If a candidate has a Class XII pass certificate and the marks statement as well, which document he/she should upload while filling the application form?

A. In the case of a candidate having both the documents, he/she should upload the Class 12 marks sheet/statement while filling the JEE Advanced 2022 application form.

Q. My class XII result is yet to be out. Will I be able to register for the exam without uploading the Class XII certificate?

A. Yes. You do not have to upload any document related to the Class 12 examination.

Q. If I mentioned the wrong category while filling the JEE Main 2022 application form, would I be able to change that in JEE advance?

A. No, the information filled during JEE Main 2022 cannot be changed.

Hello Ansiya, Every student enrolled in the IISERs was eligible to receive the Rs-80,000 scholarship provided their academic performance was satisfactory, I. e. if they maintained an annual GPA of 6.0 and above on a 10-point scale.

No all the deemed Universities don't ask for JEE marks they just need that you have appeared in JEE exams. They don't ask for marks for JEE. But some deemed Universities ask for JEE scores for admission in engineering field in any department.

There is certain qualifying criteria for being eligible to appear JEE advance examination. You have to qualify JEE Main at least like you have to clear cutoff according to your category then you are good to go.

Hii Rehaan, If you have passed your class 12th in 2020, you are eligible to write JEE Mains in 2020, 2021 and 2022. You can write JEE Advanced only for 2 years after completion of your class 12th. That is in 2020 and 2021. So you cannot attempt JEE Advanced in 2022.
