According to IIT Palakkad BTech Civil student (Batch of 2026), the placement rate recorded during IIT Palakkad BTech Civil placements 2023 was 80.77%. The top recruiters were IBM, TCS and Infosys. Further, the average package offered during IIT Palakkad BTech Civil placements 2023 was INR 10.22 LPA.

Further, according to CSE students (Batch of 2023), the average package offered during IIT Palakkad placements 2023 was INR 15 LPA. Companies such as Paytm, Adobe and Jio visited the campus during IIT Palakkad placements 2023.

During JoSAA Counselling, a category-wise cutoffs are released for IIT Palakkad. IIT Palakkad cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering has been released for other than General category are 

  • 1735 for OBC
  • 735 for SC
  • 400 for ST
  • 755 for EWS

While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 4531 and closing rank was 5162. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 1532 and 8709. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Palakkad - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

IIT Palakkad cutoff 2023 was 16487 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering in IIT Palakkad - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 22093 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

IIT Pallakad admissions 2024 are based on JEE Main 2024 ranks followed by JEE Advanced ranks and further followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech must appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced in order to be eligible for further admission process.

The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
