IIT Palakkad MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, wherein, M.Sc. in Mathematics is the most competitive specialsiation with a closing rank of 102 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course is M.Sc. in Physics with a cutoff rank of 614. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the MSc course must secure a rank upto 614 to be eligible for IIT Palakkad 

IIT Palakkad admissio to the MSc course is based on IIT JAM scores, followed by IIT JAM counselling process. Only candidates in the JAM 2024 Merit List based on JAM 2024 scorecard will be eligible to apply for admission.

To apply for admission at IIT Palakkad flaship programme BTech, candidates must register themseleves in the officail website of JEE Main, JEE Advanced and JoSAA. Admission is based on the entrance exams and counselling process. Therefore, candidates are required to register on the official website of the entrance exam and the counselling bodies. 

• For BTech programmme admissionis based on JEE Main, JEE Advanced scores followed by JoSAA Counselling. In order to apply for BTech at IIT Palakkad, students are required to apply via JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced application.

1. Open the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) and click on the ‘Registration for JEE (Main) 2024’ link.
2. Fill the registration form with the required information followed by clicking on the 'submit' button.
3. Fill out the detailed application form and upload scanned images and documents.
4. Pay the application fees.

To apply in the doctoral cousres candidates can follow the below mentioned steps:

• Create an account in the portal.
• Please check your email for the welcome email. 
• Log in with your email and password.
• Click on "Programs" > Choose "MS" or “PhD”.
• Click the "Apply" button against the MS/PhD programme that you wish to apply.
• Fill personal details.
• Create Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID 
• Fill qualification details. 
• Enter the details of your GATE/UGC-NET/Other National Level Test scores
• Upload the required documents. If you do not possess a valid category Certificate (due to current situation),   please fill the enclosed undertaking and upload the same in PDF format
