IIT Palakkad JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 has been released for the first round. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. The cutoff ranks among the General AI category candidates varied between 5736 and 14872. BTech in CSE turned out to be the toughest specialisation among the General AI category.

IIT Palakkad MSc cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to different specialisations. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for different categories of students belonging to the AI quota. During the IIT Palakkad JAM cutoff 2025, the first round closing ranks varied between 478 and 609 for General AI category students. Of all the MSc specialisations, the most competitive was the MSc in Mathematics. For the rest of the other MSc specialisations, the IIT JAM first and last round closing ranks are tabulated below for the General AI quota:

IIT Palakkad accepts IIT JAM scores for admission ot the MSc specialisations. The cutoff was released for MSc in Physics, MSc in Chemistry and MSc in MSc in Mathematics. The last round closing ranks for the aforementioned specialisations were 588, 609 and 478, among the General AI category candidates. The eligibility criteria for candidates to apply for courses at IIT Palakkad is as follows: 

BTech: Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 75% aggregate. Qualifying JEE Main and JEE Advanced

MTech: Graduation with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Qualifying and clearing the minimum cutoff of GATE. 

MSc:  A Bachelors degree and appearing for IIT JAM.

With a rank of 540 in the JEE Advanced exam, you are guaranteed a spot at IIT Palakkad and can easily secure admission to most engineering programs. Looking at last year's cutoff ranks for different courses at IIT Palakkad, here's what they were:

- Computer Science and Engineering: The cutoff was around 6199.
- Data Science and Engineering: The cutoff was around 8084.
- Electrical Engineering: The cutoff was about 9766.
- Civil Engineering: The cutoff was as high as 16487.

The cutoff for admission to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad varies by course and category: 

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): The closing rank for the General AI category in 2024 was 6199. This is a rise from 5162 in 2023 and 4718 in 2022. 

B.Tech. in Data Science and Engineering: The closing rank for the General AI category in 2024 was 8084. 

OBC category: The cutoff for the AI quota in 2024 ranged from 2069 to 5565.

The JEE Advanced cutoff for IIT Palakkad varies by programme and category each year. For the 2024 admissions cycle, the cutoff ranges for popular B.Tech courses are as follows: 

 

- Computer Science and Engineering (General category) expects a cutoff between 5152-5162, while OBC candidates might expect 1725-1735.
