Imperial, on paper, is better than UCLA. In terms of global ranking, Imperial College QS rank is 6th in the world while the UCLA QS rank is 29th in the world. Imperial College placements rate is also higher than that of the University of California Los Angeles placement rate.

Imperial College London UK does not directly issue work permit to international student, however, international students with student visas are permitted to work in the UK during the academic year with a few limitations and maybe full-time during breaks (including after their classes are over).

Yes, a large numbers of Indians have graduates from the Imperial College London. The college has over 3,000 Indian alumni member worldwide. To be a part of UG STEM courses at Imperial College London, international students are required to have certain subjects in the 12th grade. International students are generally expected to be very good at quantitative reasoning.
