Yes, ICL London is among the best UK colleges for research. The Research Excellence Framework considers it to be the best UK university for research. Behavioural and Social Science, Innovation, Environment, Data, Biology, and Public Health and Policy, are some popular areas of research at ICL.

The university played a key role in developing vaccines to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

Both are very good in different areas. Imperial College is known for its strong STEM courses. Oxford is considered the better option for its humanities and social Science programs. Imperial maintains strong industry connections in the tech and Science industry. Oxford carries a historical reputation and has educated more than 30 British Prime Ministers.

Similar to the Ivy League in the US, 24 of the best universities are part of the Russell Group in the UK. The main difference between RG universities and others comes in research, teaching, and overall standing. RG university faculty members are usually Nobel Prize winners or world-class researchers. You get a low student to faculty ratio and a better environment.

Indian students need to meet the MBA admission requirements if they want to be a part of Imperial UK admissions. This course is for 1 year and available as 45 different specializations. Look at the list of admission requirements given below:

Imperial College London is very well known for its focus on STEM education. It also ranks among some of the best unis in the UK and the world. According to Shiksha, the MSc courses at Imperial UK rank 3 in their popularity rankings. 

However, on Quora, there are some mixed reviews on these courses. One of the current students says that he does not recommend it as it takes too much effort to land a job after graduation. Also, some users suggested that they had to pay a fortune for a year Imperial MSc programme with fees and other living expenses going as high as half a crore.

Yes, Imperial College London offers MSc in Business Analytics. The tuition for this course is INR 56.3 L without living expenses for 1 year. The MSc Business Analytics curriculum focuses on data management tools and makig sense of that data using these tools. 

If you want to go for this course, then you need meet the given admission requirements as an India student: 

  • A valid UG degree with 65%
  • PTE, IELTS or Duolingo 
  • Some level of familiarity with tools like SQL R and Python

Imperial, on paper, is better than UCLA. In terms of global ranking, Imperial College QS rank is 6th in the world while the UCLA QS rank is 29th in the world. Imperial College placements rate is also higher than that of the University of California Los Angeles placement rate.

Imperial College London UK does not directly issue work permit to international student, however, international students with student visas are permitted to work in the UK during the academic year with a few limitations and maybe full-time during breaks (including after their classes are over).
