Dear Candidate, IILM University is offering 3 years B.A. (Honors) degree in History & International Relations which brings together the two interrelated fields of study. The underlying belief that the study of the contemporary world and how nations relate to each other at various levels cannot be understood without knowing the historical context leads to a dovetailing of both the subjects. Therefore, the programme we offer is a beautiful blend of core subjects of History and International Relations and elective subjects from Liberal Arts such as Microeconomics, Academic Writing, Psychology, Law, Art & Culture, and Environmental Studies. Our pedagogy is a combination of interactive and engaging lectures, seminars, tutorials, field trips, group and individual study, workshops, practical sessions and much more. The curriculum focuses on interdisciplinary and contemporary issues giving a broader horizon to learn. Unique experiential learning and hands-on approach using some of the advanced tools makes learning deep and meaningful. The course mandates a 6-8 weeks summer internship/live project to make the students more attuned to the real world. They can also pursue their career in the field of International Relations as strategic experts, civil servants, as members of the embassy of different nations, academicians, political analysts, and much more. It aims at developing a new generation of versatile legal professionals through BBA LL.B.A comprehensive and contemporary course of integrated knowledge and rigorous education. This course has been designed innovative and has been developed in association with academicians and professional experts, and as per the guidelines of Bar Council of India. It provides an integrated understanding of the interrelationship of Management Studies for corporate functions and the Law in its entirety. Students who take this course will understand interaction between law and businesses, can anticipate the legal need of their business entities and comprehend how law and regulations impact them. It equips students with a range of transferable skill of potential value to future employers as it incorporates a specialised level of integration with management subjects. They can work successfully with companies, law firms, and as legal officers at various organizations. They can also represent ministries in government through their panel in the courts as a standing counsel and represent the company in capacities such as in-house counsel or an advisory and perform all that functions of a lawyer.
