In some colleges mining is good, on some chemical is good and even in some mechanical. But if you are not interested in any of these then there is a branch Computer Science. Which will surely land you a job. This is such a branch with more job opportunities and more salary. But again more salary is not provided to everyone it's just some people with good skills. Though it may provide you a decent salary not enough though. It depends on which field you are interested. Core or IT? Then, you can only decide.
