A total of 1,200 offers were made and 1,150 students were placed after the Phase 1 placements 2025. In addition, more than 50 international offers were made during IIT Delhi Phase 1 placements 2024-25. International offers came from more than 15 organisations across multiple global regions including Netherlands, Japan, UAE, South Korea, Taiwan, United States and United Kingdom.

50 students received domestic offers with package more than INR 1 crore per annum during the IIT Delhi placement drive 2023. Further, the highest international package offered during IIT Delhi placements 2023 stood at INR 2.5 crore per annum.

IIT Delhi overall average package 2023 data is not released yet. Earlier, according to IIT Delhi Engineering NIRF report 2024, a fluctuating trend was witnessed in the median package offered over the past three years during IIT Delhi UG 4-year placements whereas a fluctuating trend was witnessed in the median package offered during UG 5-year and PG 2-year placements, which is presented below:

The MBA placements at IIT Delhi concluded with the highest package of 41.13 LPA. The average package received by the experience holder students is 25.82LPA. Whereas the freshers got the average package of 24.01 LPA. It should be noted that 100% of students were successfully placed in the 2023 recruitment drive.

The placements for B.Tech in Civil Engineering at IIT Delhi are very good. In the 2022 placement season, the highest salary offered was INR 35 LPA, while the average salary was INR 10 LPA. Almost all the students (>95%) got placed in top companies such as L&T, TCS, Infosys, Schlumberger, etc.

Some of the top recruiters that visited during IIT Delhi placements 2023 include Microsoft, Rakuten Mobile, HCL Technologies, Accenture, Graviton Research Capital LLP, Brain & Company, EXL Analytics, Cisco, Jaguar Land Rover India Limited and McKinsey & Company. At the end of Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2023, a record-breaking 1,300 offers were received. Further, 230 PPOs were received during IIT Delhi placements 2022.

The academic is well arranged and accepted in may deemed and prestigious universities and colleges of world. Although, the textile engineering is a relatively new and leas opted branch. In India, there is no wide scope and even requirement for textile engineers and the same is reflected in the placement session. The average placements are around 5 Lacs and the highest being upto 10 Lacs which is though not affordable in the IITs.
