A total of 1,200 offers were made and 1,150 students were placed during the Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2025. Further, more than 50 international offers were made during IIT Delhi Phase 1 placements 2024-25.

IIT Delhi average package is not released. However, as per some unofficial sources, the average package offered during IIT Delhi placements 2023 stood at INR 21.9 LPA.

Ranked second in NIRF 2024, IIT Delhi's 2023 summer internship placement report revealed the highest stipend of Rs 4.04 lakh per month and an average stipend of Rs 2.63 lakh per month. In the first phase of IIT Delhi placements 2023, a total of 1,300 job offers were received, including 1,150 unique offers. Additionally, there were 260 PPOs and 30 international offers from 15 global companies across 20 profiles and countries like the UK, United States, Singapore, Japan, and Netherlands. The placement session featured registrations from 500 companies, and 50 students secured domestic offers exceeding INR 1 crore per annum. The highest international package offered during phase 1 stood at INR 2.4 crore per annum.

At end of IIT Delhi Phase 1 placements 2024-25, a total of 1,200 offers were made and 1,150 students were placed. According to unofficial sources, an interesting placement story revolves around a campus-interview where the interviewer observes “Chess as a hobby” in the resume of the student. The interviewer asks the student to play a virtual game of Chess with him by mentally shuffling the pieces. Subsequently, the interviewer, knowingly, makes a wrong move by moving the Queen, and interestingly, the student was quick to pounce on this and correct the interviewer, which landed the student the job.
