For over the last 5 years, IIT Delhi has maintained to stay in the top 3 best Engineering institutes in the country. Battling with IIT Madras and IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi is said to be better than these two in many ways including infrastructure, academics, placements, facilities, etc. When it comes to its MBA programme, IIT Delhi ranks 4 after the top 3 IIMs Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Calcutta, whereas IIT Bombay and IIT Madras are positioned at 10 and 11 ranks, respectively. Hence making IIT Delhi the only IIT in the league of the IIMs for its MBA programme.

At IIT Delhi, the admission season was long over in October '22 with the release of its last cutoff of JoSAA for B.Tech admissions. Like most of the IITs, IIT Delhi conducted its placement drives and got involved in internship activities from November onwards. In January 2023, IIT Delhi concluded Phase 1 and 2 of its placement drives. At the end of Phase 2 of IIT Delhi placements 2022, a record-breaking 1,300 offers were received. IIT Delhi BTech admission 2025 is based on JEE Advanced scores. Though the institute records high cutoffs every year, with adequate preparation, anyone can seek admission to its BTech programme. Candidates need to be thorough with their Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus to crack the exam. The students must have a valid score in JoSAA. Also, for similar top-notch or tier 1 BTech colleges such as IITs, NITs and IIITs, the pattern of the entrance for BTech is the same.

The total IIT Delhi MTech fee for students belonging to the General category is between INR 1 lakh - INR 2.6 lakh. The institute offers fee waivers based on category and income slab. In addition to this, IIT Delhi also offers several scholarships and fee concessions based on merit and financial need of the students. Therefore, the BTech fee at IIT Delhi is affordable.

Yes, there are fee waiver for family income less than 6 Lacs and it depends on category too, if you are from backward caste with less income, you will get 60-100% fee waiver and scholarships.
