Eligibility : Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST/PwD) in (I) B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT / B.Voc. No you do not required to study any coding for language before you join the classes for your graduation in engineering in the branch of information Technology. Hello Asha Latha, you have completed your diploma in the year 1996 and now you are seeking lateral entry for doing graduation in BCA. Right? I am afraid lateral admissions are only allowed in engineering graduation courses in which a student who has done diploma is given admission directly into second year of 4 year degree course. But for graduation in any other course this facility is perhaps not available. You will have to take admission only in the first year of the degree course.
