For doing BCA, you have must completed you intermediate from any recognized board. Minimum 50% is required! Many of the institution provide BCA to non-maths students! Whereas many institutions do not provide to non-maths students.
If you want to enroll in this course prepare for top universities entrance exams like Christ university Bangalore! They take an entrance and interview!

Both of these courses have their own merits. Students interested to have a job in Software or in computer applications can choose to study BCA. BCA course is also a good option for students who wish to take a postgraduate degree in MCA. Students who are interested in Database operations or Internet can go for B.Sc IT.
