Some of the world famous design schools are Georgia Institute of Technology, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, UCLA, Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design to name a few. Check the university websites for entry requirements and fee, etc.

If you talk about colleges then there are many such as Fleming College, Humber College, Fanshawe College, Durham College etc. But if you are asking about an university then famous ones include University of Toronto, University of British Columbia etc. See here:

There are particularly two aspects, one when you look from the normal consumer point of view other from the company/industry point of view.

The placements for NIT-MCA are one of the best in the country. Students have bagged offers as high as 60 LPA and the placement percentage usually remains between 90% to 100%. However, this does not mean that you will get an offer in 7 digits salary. Placement packages vary from company to company.
Simply speaking, if you have studied at least what was taught in the class, have cgpa good enough to satisfy the Eligibility criteria of the companies, you have fair chances of getting a good enough job offer.
