In the field of Computers and IT, Chandigarh University offers a four-year BCA (Hons)/ Hons. with Research at the UG level. The university offers BCA in Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality, Data Science and User Interface/ User Experience Design. Students pursuing BCA at CU learn networking, integration, server management, and the use of computers in the business world. They learn software developing, system programming, systems analysis, systems management and project management. 

Students seeking admission to Chandigarh University for BCA must have completed their Class 12 with 50-55% aggregate in the respective subjects. Admission to this course is entrance-based. The university selects students based on their scores in Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). This is an in-house common entrance exam of CU.
