Yes, you can probably get admission to the BCA course at UEM Kolkata with 69% in Class 12. UEM Kolkata typically follows a merit-based admission process, and the eligibility criteria for BCA usually demand that candidates have passed their 12th with a minimum percentage in subjects such as Mathematics and Computer Science. With a 69% score, you fall within a competitive range for admission. But it's better to look at the individual eligibility criteria and cutoffs for the year you are applying, since these do change. You may call the college for more information and updates.

With a CRL (Common Rank List) of 858,390 and an OBC (Other Backward Classes) rank of 332,295 in JEE Mains, admission to a government college for a B.Tech in Information Technology (IT) is not feasible. Historically, cutoffs for government colleges are way lower, especially for popular branches like IT, and can ask for much higher ranks.

But cutoff ranks vary every year based on available seats, reservation in the category, and number of applicants. Look for the latest cutoff information on the official website of JEE Mains counseling (JoSAA) and visit private college as well.

BCA might be considered "better" if you are passionate about technology and computer programming, while BBA is better if you prefer business management and broader career options across different industries essentially, BCA offers more specialised technical skills while BBA provides a wider range of career paths with transferable business skills. BBA graduates can find jobs in various sectors like sales, marketing, consulting, finance, and entrepreneurship, while BCA graduates are typically employed in IT companies as software developers, web developers, database administrators, etc.
