Poddar Group of Institutions Highlights 2025

Poddar Group of Institutions was established in 1998. PGI Jaipur is a privately owned college and is located in Jaipur. The college is approved by governing and regulatory bodies such as AICTE, PCI, and NCTE. Further, the college has been accredited by NAAC and is affiliated with the University of Rajasthan. With the growing demand for professionally trained youth, the primary focus of Poddar College Jaipur has been to conceptualise the ideology of what lies beyond academics i.e. skill development, entrepreneurship, etc. As a result, the group was founded to bridge the gap by emphasizing value-based programs that prepare students for corporate careers and startup training. Through numerous clubs and cells, the Poddar Group of Institution's colleges focuses on the best academic practices, which are reinforced through student mentorship and learning activities.

The Department of Science and Technology, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur has awarded the college a significant project to construct a Biotechnology Business Incubation Center. It has also inked MoUs with prominent colleges, institutes, and MNCs for student exchange programs, internships, and training. Amazing experience at PGI, good placements, infrastructure, faculty members, and events.

Placements: Training and placement cell of Poddar Group of Institutions does an amazing job, from interview and soft skill training to bringing the best companies. 80% of students are placed this year. The companies are Accenture, Amazon, Adani Airports, Learning Routes, UNIRE, and Wipro. The average package included 5 LPA with the highest package as 15 LPA and the lowest as 4 LPA. The job roles offered included cybersecurity analyst, data analyst, AI researcher, web developer, UI/UX designer, and software developer.

Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure with a resourceful library, apple lab, Wi-Fi, smart classroom, and many more. There are spacious classrooms with a standard student-to-teacher ratio. There are two IT labs and an apple lab for the students to research and practice different computer applications related technologies. The library here has a vast collection of books on diverse topics and has a sound environment where students can study with focus. Canteen is good and you can find beverages and snacks there. There is also a first-aid room with a dedicated professional.

Faculty: Professors at Poddar are highly qualified and very supportive. They teach using the latest tools and methodologies. The college uses updated curriculum to ensure the learning remains relevant. Live workshops, expert-led seminars, industrial visits, and events like Hackathon are all part of the comprehensive learning environment here. The exams have a standard difficulty level aimed at testing the students and motivating them to put in their best efforts. The pass percentage is above 90%.

Other: I chose BCA because of the increasing scope in the IT field. The subjects taught are almost the same as those taught in computer engineering but with a BCA course, you can complete these subjects within 3 years. That's a plus point. Additionally, there are some extra subjects that help students enhance their knowledge. There are a lot of cultural events here like annual fest, dance competitions, inter-college competitions, hackathon, technotrak, sports day, and many more. Campus surroundings are good with a lot of greenery. Meritorious students receive scholarships throughout the course. Extra-curricular activities include painting, dance, and various clubs.

Design department - Poddar International College.

Placements: I am very happy as I got internships and opportunities to work with various firms and workplaces. Apart from that, the placement percentage of students has risen from 85% to 91% since 2023. The highest packages offered are up to 24 LPA and the average package ranges around 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: The design department is very well decorated with continuous updates in visual merchandise made by students. The classrooms and hostels are equipped with fast Wi-Fi networks, clean canteens, and restrooms. The food cooked is fresh and many packaged brands are also available.

Faculty: Yearly exams are conducted by the university, which makes it easier to focus. Faculty is very helpful and always focuses on students and their growth with a lot of practical field opportunities. In the 3rd and 4th year of the course, students are given exposure to various companies.

Here I found lots of opportunities and good education system along with many other activities.

Placements: After 6 semesters, students start getting eligible for placements. Placements start in 7 semesters. There are many companies that visit our college, like TCS, Crest, Meditab, Zerodha, Mastek, Zealousweb, Gateway, etc . They have placed approximately 30–40 students. The highest package this year till now is 6 lakhs in Mediate. The lowest package is 3 lakhs. Average is 4 lakhs. This year's half-round is over and 40–50% of students are placed. We will have almost 80–90% of students getting placed.

Infrastructure: Now, I would like to talk about our college infrastructure. In our college, all the departments like management, fashion, science, IT and arts have settled on different floors. This gives us the proper convenience to go anywhere, wherever we want. Everybody likes the fashion department infrastructure because it gives the beautiful and colorful vibes. The college also has a place for an auditorium downstairs of the reception area. It is a very beautiful and huge area.

Faculty: Faculty members are definitely not up to mark. By this, I don't want to disrespect them, There are certain faculty who have completed PhD and are also very good at teaching but certain faculty are not able to deliver knowledge properly. Certain do not even have proper practical knowledge; they only want to complete the portion. However, not every faculty member is well-versed in both theory and practice. I would name certain faculty who I liked most Shital Gondaliya Mam, Sneh Vyas Sir, Sagar Jani Sir, Ankita Chauhan Mam, Nirali Thakkar Mam, Deepti Mam, Sunit Parmar Sir, Niti Mam I would have surely forgotten one or two but these faculty are truly amazing. I would love to highlight Sagar Jani, sir; he is my counsellor too. There are two exams in particular per semester: the midterm exam and the external exam (both theory and practical). There are also test in between. Course curriculum is also good but not the best.

This is a respectable institution.

Placements: On our course, about 80% of the students were placed. The offered salary package is in the range of 4-6 LPA. For placements, prestigious recruiting firms visit our college, including Accenture, Infosys, Flipkart, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, etc. Nearly all the students obtained internships at various companies. Students are offered top positions such as manager, HR, financial advisory, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, a library, labs, and other facilities are provided by our college. There are sports and fitness activities, as well as health and wellness activities. Our college offers top-notch indoor and outdoor games, delicious food, and adequate medical facilities.

Faculty: Our college has a staff of helpful professors. They offer advice based on the needs of the students. Industrial employers are seeking students with skills, and the course curriculum is current. A test's foundation is its application. 95% of the questions pass.

An affordable private college for pursuing Bachelors degree.

Placements: The percentage of students getting placed is in between 60-70%. The campus jobs and internship programs are very good. Many famous companies coming to the campus for hiring. The package is between 4 to 5 Lacs. Some are getting 7LPA, depending upon the company and the me of the students. You get enough time to complete your internships on vacation. Since the college was established in the year, but I do not know. They are yet to bring reputed B.A. firms for placements. Recent tie ups with association.

Infrastructure: College campus provides us with hostel and mess facilities. The food quality provided in mess is very good. Classroom, labs, library are well-equipped and fully furnished. Campus is very environment friendly, you will get all shops for daily needs inside the campus. The professors are very experienced. Mess food is nice and affordable. Canteens are quite expensive. Bus facility is available for markets but most of the students use tier vehicle. Campus life is quite soothing. Even though it lacks outing places but you can always hang out in canteens with your friends. Hostels, as well as college. Are environment friendly. But there is a night curfew in hostels which you have to strictly follow.

Faculty: The faculty that are provided to us are very good. The teachers hold Ph.D. in their subjects which means that they have very good knowledge. They always help us and guide us. The faculty is very experienced and qualified there. They will help you in every entrance exam or interview in future. The industry exposure in B.A. is very less as only 3 companies come for placement here. For most of the subjects experienced faculty is available guest lectures are conducted regularly.

Other: The best event of our colleges. A fair is organised in the birthday of our founder. The fest is organised and there are many celebrities and well known people visit campus during these fest time.

Golden years of my life.

Placements: The final year students are ready for placements and internships. The highest package offered is 6 LPA. Poddar Group Institution is one of the finest colleges affiliated with Rajasthan University. Prospicio, the placement cell of the institute, witnessed another fruitful year, with around 15-20 companies arriving, and 40-50 students being placed. After completing my Bachelor's degree, I'll surely pursue Masters. During the 2022 placement drive, 15 companies approached the institute for placements, and 35 students were placed. In the placement drive of 2022, the highest CTC stood at INR 6 LPA, whereas the average CTC stood at INR 3.5 LPA, and the highest stipend for the summer internship placement stood at INR 10K. Some of the top recruiters include KPMG, EY, FIS Global, Teach for India, Deloitte, and many more. The placement cell introduced a new section named government jobs and scholarship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Campus life is so good, and I'm very happy about it. The infrastructure of our college is beautiful, and the greenery is the main reason; it's everywhere, making our college more appealing. Our college has a library facility, and it's good, with a good availability of books and journals. We also have a canteen, and the food is nice. Amenities are pretty basic, as in all universities, and we have sports facilities with proper equipment. We have a lot of societies in our college, and auditions are also there for anyone who wants to join.

Faculty: Public Administration is a field I'm interested in, and I'm happy I got my course. The faculty of KNC is great; they are focused and prioritize each and every student. All the information is updated on its website. Teachers are very humble and helpful. They provide all the important PPTs, and binders are something very helpful. The college library is huge and provides all the study materials. There are about 130-140 students in my section, which is further divided into 2 groups. There's one assignment every month or so, and exams at the end of every semester.

Other: There are so many fests in college. Of course, the annual fest is held at the end of the year. Every department has its fests often. There's NSS and NCC and so many societies. Our college has about 14-15 societies, and each society represents itself at fests. Like Poddar College, our college groups are very much active.

Poddar Group of Institutions Infrastructure

PGI Jaipur has campuses at three different locations, i.e., Mansarovar, Jagatpura, and Vatika(Sanganer) in Jaipur. Institute has Society for Sustainable Eco-Friendly Solutions an incubation centre on campus premises for students.
