IIIT-H is always preferable because it is leader in the field of computer science and related field of education. It has a broad industry base and much better graduation outcomes than any other institution. So it is always preferable than any other college. IIIT-BBSR is also a very good college. It has a very good coding culture and gradually developing to compete with the top institutes. It gives quality education in the state of Odisha in the IT field.
Thank you.
Hope this helps.

IIIT Hyderabad is always a better option than any other non-IIT institutions in India because of the following reasons:
1. It has a broad industry connection and high graduation outcomes.
2. It is better than many IITs in terms of Computer Science and related fields.
3. It is highly research-oriented institute.

For IIIT Bhubaneswar and IIIT Naya Raipur, the application is through Jossa for All India category and individual institute-level counselling for State categories. For IIIT Hyderabad and IIIT Bangalore, the application is individual from the institute's website. Check regularly the websites for further notifications. Thank you.
Hope this helps. All the best.

The chances are high if you belong to Odisha state. If you are from All India, then from this year, it is tougher. It's hard to predict because the institute is added to JoSAA for the first time this year, which means there are high chances of high cutoff in All India quota. But the process is same for Odisha domiciled category. So it depends on the quota.
Hope for the best and apply for it.

It is a good programme but it totally depends on you whether you are interested in research or you want to do a job after cracking GATE or M.Tech.
Pros:-
1. It is one of the best research programs available in the country.
2. It will give you 2 degrees.
3. It will provide the best outcomes if you get selected.
Cons:-
1. You will have to repeat your 2nd year.
2. If the MS is not done successfully then you will land with the B.Tech degree only and that too after 2-3 years of normal course completion. Thank you. Hope this helps.

The placement in companies, like Google and Amazon does not depend on the college. There is a chance of getting placed in these companies, even if they don't recruit in your college and you apply off-campus and get selected, then there is also a chance, if the companies recruits from your college and you're not selected. It does not depend on the college. It totally depends on you.
If you have the skills relevant to the position for which you apply and have caliber matching to the particular company and what it takes to be in the company, then surely you will be recruited, otherwise you won't.

Look, it totally depends on you. It depends on your field of interest and what you want to do. I personally feel there are two ways of choosing a college.
1. If you have decided your field and branch of study and you are determined in that than go for the branch irrespective of NIT, IIT or IIIT.
2. If you are unsure of the branch, then I would recommend, first research the course guidelines of the above-stated branches and outcomes of the same and then see which matches your interest best because 4 years is not a short period. Based on your decision, you have to study the particular branch for a long period. If you can see yourself stu
