You need to have minimum 75% in 12th or you need to be in the top 20 percentile for your state board to be eligible for JEE Mains, selection in IIIT Hyderabad is purely on your JEE Mains score.

*Admission to various B.Tech courses at IIIT Hyderabad will be done through four channels, namely, JEE Main 2017, Direct Admission for Students of Abroad (DASA), NTSE, KVPY (NK), and Olympiad.
*IIIT Hyderabad are the only IIIT's that do not consider CBSE Board percentage and admission to these are based ononly JEE MAIN scoresand done through separate counselling.

If you are studying in less popular college or have a problem with you in the college then you can sure change your college as this IIIT is also a private but this is autonomous college so this is quite good so it good to join.
