A degree and a diploma both lead to engineering careers, but they serve different goals.Degree (B.Tech/B.E.) is better if you want deeper technical knowledge, higher-paying jobs, campus placements, and future options like M.Tech, MBA, or research roles.Diploma is better if you want to start working early, focus on practical skills, or enter industry as a technician or supervisor. In simple terms:If you want long-term career growth, choose a degree. If you want quick job-oriented training, a diploma works. Both paths can lead to engineering — it depends on your goals.

When selecting reference book candidates must select latest edition. If many books are available on a subject, compare authors, editions, and table of contents. Candidates must read online reviews.

Candidates can manage time in examination by practising question papers before appearing in exam. It will help in knowing which section is taking more time, and then work on that part to save time. They must make sure that they solve many questions from each topic to increase speed of solving.

Candidates must be familiar with syllabus, make notes of all topics, regular revision, practising previous years' question papers and appear in mock tests. Set small goals. Time management is important in IPU CET preparation. Practice solving problems in a time-bound manner and develop a strategy to attempt the exam.

You should download and print this confirmation page for future reference, as it serves as proof of successful submission. No separate confirmation is sent by post.
