The Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) 2026 will be conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) from April 2026 to May 2026, for various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. IPU CET BTech (Biotechnology) will be conducted from April 2026.

Yes, you can apply for multiple courses in IPU CET. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) allows candidates to apply for more than one course, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for each.?
How to Apply for Multiple Courses
Single Login for Multiple Applications: Use the same User ID and Password to apply for different courses. After completing one application, you can log in again to apply for a Separate application for Different Exam Categories: If the courses you wish to apply for fall under different exam categories, you need to submit separate applications for each.

The IPU CET 2026 (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) is primarily conducted in offline mode (pen-and-paper based) for most courses. Candidates are required to answer multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on an OMR sheet.

IPU CET ranks are required for admission to BTech courses at the HMR Institute of Technology and Management. The ranks for admission in 2024 varied from 68768 to 96392 based on different rounds, the category to which the student belongs, and the specialisation of BTech in which the student is interested. The IPU CET Law exam is conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). It is conducted for all colleges under IPU, not only for the HMR Institute of Technology and Management. The IPUCET Law results are excpected to be released in the first week of July.

The colleges affiliated to AKTU accepts IPUCET exam for admission to UG and PG courses. The basic criteria to get into AKTU through IPUCET exam is to have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in class 12 and for PG courses, the minimum aggregate 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree. So, if you are securing a percentile of 72 in class 12th, it is more than enough to appear for IPUCET to get into AKTU.

AKTU offers various UG and PG courses based on IPU CET exam through its affiliated colleges. In connection to it, the university has released the cutoff for various All India and Home State quotas. Further, as per the AKTU cutoff 2024, the last-round stood between 151726 and 154086 for the General AI category candidates. Similarly, for the OBC AI category candidates, the IPUCET cutoff stood between 308 and 3801. Candidates must go through the AKTU cutoff page for more cutoff-related information.

With an IP CET rank of 6456, your chances of getting a seat at MSIT are likely, but not guaranteed.
A rank under 2000 is considered a good chance for getting into MSIT for the general category.
But it might change depending upon your category and the branch which you want.
