IPU CET ranks are required for admission to BTech courses at the HMR Institute of Technology and Management. The ranks for admission in 2024 varied from 68768 to 96392 based on different rounds, the category to which the student belongs, and the specialisation of BTech in which the student is interested. The IPU CET Law exam is conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). It is conducted for all colleges under IPU, not only for the HMR Institute of Technology and Management. The IPUCET Law results are excpected to be released in the first week of July.

The colleges affiliated to AKTU accepts IPUCET exam for admission to UG and PG courses. The basic criteria to get into AKTU through IPUCET exam is to have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in class 12 and for PG courses, the minimum aggregate 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree. So, if you are securing a percentile of 72 in class 12th, it is more than enough to appear for IPUCET to get into AKTU.

AKTU offers various UG and PG courses based on IPU CET exam through its affiliated colleges. In connection to it, the university has released the cutoff for various All India and Home State quotas. Further, as per the AKTU cutoff 2024, the last-round stood between 151726 and 154086 for the General AI category candidates. Similarly, for the OBC AI category candidates, the IPUCET cutoff stood between 308 and 3801. Candidates must go through the AKTU cutoff page for more cutoff-related information.

With an IP CET rank of 6456, your chances of getting a seat at MSIT are likely, but not guaranteed.
A rank under 2000 is considered a good chance for getting into MSIT for the general category.
But it might change depending upon your category and the branch which you want.

For admissions to the BBA LLB programme at KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education, passing the IPU CET exam is mandatory. IPU CET (BTech) follows an NCERT-based syllabus covering Class 11 and 12 topics, whereas JEE Main includes NCERT concepts along with advanced topics. The question type in IPU CET is mostly conceptual and application-based, while JEE Main requires more analytical and problem-solving skills. In terms of difficulty level, IPU CET is considered moderate, whereas JEE Main is significantly more challenging. The competition level in IPU CET is also lower, as it is limited to admissions in GGSIPU-affiliated colleges, whereas JEE Main is a national-level exam with extremely high competition for NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. No official booklist is provided, but NCERT books (Class 11 & 12) are strongly recommended for science-related courses. Additionally, reference books from Arihant, RS Aggarwal, and Disha Publications can help in preparation.

Yes IPU CET syllabus is largely based on the NCERT
- BTech: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from the NCERT books.
- BBA and other management courses: English, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Aptitude but may also require additional preparation.
- MCA: Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Computer Awareness, with some concepts from NCERT and additional advanced topics.
- However, the exam is not strictly limited to NCERT books. Referring to other competitive exam books can be beneficial.
