Clearing the IPU CET for BTech Diploama laterl entry exam in first attempt is not a difficult task. To score good marks in IPU CET in the first attempt, it is advised that students study the diploma-level syllabus topics thoroughly. They must clear all the concepts. Diploma books which students study are the best books for IPU CET preparation. Students must study these books properly and solve all the questions in the book and do not memorise the concepts as some students do.

IPU CET 2026 will be conducted for 150 minutes. There will be 100 questions with 4 Multiple Choice Response. Each question will carry 4 marks. There shall be a negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer.

Yes. It is compulsory to attend all the sections. 20% of the questions will be in English. The candidates must definitely attempt the questions from english.

IPU CET eligibility criteria have been released on the official website. There are no changes in the eligibility of IPU CET 2026. However, if any changes are made, they will be announced online.

No. There is no such provision for filling the IPU CET application form offline. Students will have to register and submit an application form online. Registration can be done on the admission portal, ipu.admissions.nic.in.

IPU CET 2026 eligibility criteria are different for each course. Candidates can check the eligibility for BTech Lateral Entry.
BTech (Lateral Entry) for Diploma holders
Candidates must have passed a Diploma to apply for BTech Lateral Entry.
They must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
BTech (Lateral Entry) for BSc Graduates
Candidates must have passed a BSc in Physics or Mathematics to apply for BTech Lateral Entry.
They must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The official syllabus will not be made public by IPU CET University. The IPU CET 2026 undergraduate syllabus will be based on the Class 11 and 12 curriculum. It is recommended that candidates review and go over every topic and concept they studied in Classes 11 and 12.

No, IPU CET 2026 will not be conducted twice. It will be conducted only once a year for each course. The exam dates will be from March 2026 to May 2026 for various courses.
